No sooner than John Edwards admits paternity to the world, and jets off to Haiti presumably for penance to aid the victims of disaster with no cameras (Hello, CBS - what ARE you doing here?) then he gets into a row with baby mamma Rielle Hunter over the health care of their daughter Frances Quinn.
Historically, (look it up) John Edwards was a huge proponent for health care coverage for all Americans when he was running for president.
But the disgraced former candidate recently balked at paying a $5,000 dental bill for his love child daughter, who is uninsured, say sources.
Edwards' mistress Rielle Hunter took their daughter Frances - who turns 2 in February - to a dental specialist in Charlotte, N.C., in late December because the child had developed tooth decay.
"Rielle can't believe that she had to have her lawyers fight with John's attorneys to get this taken care of," said the source.
"Frances is doing fine now, but Rielle is still fuming mad that their daughter has no insurance and that she had to beg John to foot the dental bill."

Dental decay in a baby? What’s wrong with this picture?
Tooth decay at age two....my nephews had this badly and it was because their utterly useless mother had a bottle of formula stuck in their mouths morning, noon, and all night long. Both had to have baby teeth pulled because they were black and rotten.
Dental decay? Is baby momma feeding the child twinkies all day?
Miss Hunter is just training a little Democrat to suck at the teat all day.

It does point out, however, what monstrous judgement John Edwards has shown in his selection of a mistress and mother of his poor illegitimate child (now being used as a financial club for his millions).

Edwards talked about the “two Americas” constantly.
Looks like Edwards wants to be part of the America that fathers children by different baby mommas, ignores his children when inconvenient and skips out on financial support of them.
Look for Edwards to start hanging around on the corner selling crack and wearing $200 basketball shoes with his pants on the ground.
I have four kids. Barring any major health issues, the notion of tooth decay in a two year old is incomprehensible to me.
Why isn’t the child on HIS policy? On the other hand, doesn’t he pay a gazillion dollars a month in child support?
I’m not saying this is the case with baby Frances, but I had really bad tooth decay as a toddler due to who knows what! I never drank from a bottle, and I never had a pacifier. Our oldest daughter was not addicted to bottle feeding, and she had the same thing happen. Our second daughter also had problems, and she never drank from a bottle. (she did have a thing for pacifiers!) Anywho, I figured it must be hereditary. We haven’t done anything different with the rest of ours, and we’ve had one more daughter have problems with her front teeth. (she was never bottle fed nor sucked on a pacifier nor on her fingers/thumb.) Out of 10 children, three of our five daughters have had tooth decay.

Total tooth decay before the age of three??? I can’t imagine $5000 worth of dental care if every toofy in her little mouth was black.
It does sound a bit pricey. But maybe the dentist overcharges those without insurance?

Probably bottle mouth. It is a common problem.
For a baby to have that much decay, Mom and Dad are not parenting very well and feeding the baby too much sugary foods and/or not feeding enough tooth nourishing nutrients such as calcium, vitamin D, A and C. If a Medicaid Mom had a baby with such extensive decay, she would be charged with neglect because most dentists won’t accept Medicaid. But if you have the money to cover-up the neglect, that seems to be OK.
