Well, well....it really has been dead. What’s it been....about a year since the last new thread? How ya doing Nully?
Still breathing, between bouts of holding my breath and screaming...
Ping to new thread.
How come Nully gets a new thread and I don’t?
It’s great to see a lot of familiar faces I haven’t seen in awhile. Hopefully you all won’t wander too far off. :)

.b.m. mocks critics of failed Chicago 2016 Olympic bid
October 20, 2009by: an "approved" wire service
NEW YORK .r.s.d.n. .a.a.k .b.m. is having some fun at the expense of those who criticized him for trying to help his Chicago hometown land the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
Addressing donors at a Democratic Party fundraiser Tuesday night in New York City, .b.m. said he believes in a strong opposition but doesn't like it when some folks root for him to fail on health care or ... on getting the Olympics.
In a mocking tone .b.m. said: "Who's against the Olympics? What's up with that?"
Some Republicans criticized .b.m. for flying to Denmark earlier this month to boost Chicago's Olympics bid. Critics said he should have stayed home to deal with health care, unemployment and Afghanistan, among other issues.
I suppose it would be expecting too d@^*#d much for him to stop speaking like a street punk from da hood.
Well, speaking as a forever and always Bear Bryant fan, God rest his soul, I don’t exactly agree with the comparisons drawn. :) However, I do agree that Coach JoePa is a phenomenally gifted and winning coach. No trash-talking, flashy arrogance just quiet confidence. More importantly it isn’t the money but the love of the game that drives him and that may be his most admirable quality.
However, I do agree that Coach JoePa is a phenomenally gifted and the winningest coach ever.
Needed fixing.
:-)
And what's new with you Darlin'?
Well, mostly I'm doing my best to adhere to my tag line. :) Especially since I hit a major rough spot, healthwise, over the summer. I'm so very grateful for my really excellant doctors. Since then I've been shamelessly indulging myself with lots of lovely travel, spending time with fun people, good friends and family. Enjoying life to the best of my ability and to the extent any enjoyment is possible given the damage being done to our wonderful country.
Sometimes, in the interest of self-preservation, I simply have to stay away from the news. Its too disturbing and unsettling. Sometimes I succeed and at other times.... well, its an ongoing conflict. I gather you've been practicing some of the same survivor tactics.
Not to mention the fact that for the past decade and a half he's been able to coast through that pansya$$ "big" 10.
Sweets, good to see you.
Been wandering around.
Finally found that a furry troll got it.
He IS a street punk and more. Please don’t count on coming elections. Thugs have that all taken care of now. HOW did America ever let herself get to this point? CO
FOFLOL Ouch, thats gonna leave a mark... for real.
Hi CO, We’ve got ourselves a big problem, thats for sure.
To the best of my ability. I've even considered having the cable cut off. Not only is the news unbearable, but the remaining programming worse than stinks...and practically every network plays the same episodes of the same shows over and over and over again. The only 2 network shows on currently that I really like watching are now on at the same time, and the cable channels that USED to have a lot of good programming have all but eliminated the best shows. And I'm PAYING for this? Why? Plus I heard that HD tv is the biggest electricity hog in the house for those that have them. It's not like I lack for other things to do.
On a more positive note, I have had some good times in the past year. I have had two wonderful vacations with family, FINALLY got new kitties since Nermal died (well, one was slightly used
), take advantage of the scenery when I can and take some pictures and try to drag myself out dancing or shopping or hiking every now and then. Took these yesterday.
.

.

Thanks, Darks. You too. I came in from work this evening and kept thinking that something smelled like wet dog. I don't own a dog. Funniest thing....I thought of you. Now why is that?
New kitties? Thats good. Names and pics?
thank you!
Simply gorgeous!!
Some days I just sit here and wait for the jack-boots to show up at my door :(( Not that I've done anything wrong, well, not in the old America I knew anyway. Other days, like yesterday, I cry all day... good thing I can work at home most of the time and avoid the leftists there.... Other days, I'm making plans for WTSHTF.
Hey lady! Been a long time. I’d ask how you’ve been, but it appears about the same as the rest of us.
:0((
Yes, I understand, same thing with me. You must freepmail me with the translation for WTSHTF... :)
Great album. What a pretty trail. Never heard of it before and I’ve been to Arkansas many times but rarely in that area. Good to learn about it.
Losers. Still better than 11-2, though.......
Ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch. Welts, not just marks.
You know, I expect single digit IQ’s from our Floriduh poster, and I really have no skin in the game as far as Penn State goes, all I know is Paterno is a great coach, and not someone to be mocked. You really ought to be a little more knowledgeable about the man before you criticize him. Try this week’s Sports Illustrated:
http://www.ask.com/bar?q=Sports+illustrated%3B+joe+paterno&page=1&qsrc=0&ab=2&title=Penn+State%27s+Paterno+featured+in+this+week%27s+Sports+Illustrated+...&u=http%3A%2F%2Fblog.pennlive.com%2Fpatriotnewssports%2F2009%2F10%2Fpenn_states_paterno_featured_i.html&sg=1DnRTYsyc06ydVYwu%2BfWuDgsVGqUAlmkBgYnxxMmEpk%3D&tsp=1256178442918
And please, pass those grits over this way, they are delicious. ~.~
Good to hear from you, are you ready to hide over here yet?
Like I said, I'm not a Penn State fan, I have no skin in the game here. But I'm sorry, that's really a demeaning thing to say about a coaching legend and a great man. Read the article, please.
Then pass those grits....
:-)
I’ve bookmarked it for reading later, probably tomorrow. Got to get some other things attended to this evening. :)
Smooch.
*Waves*
Before you go, check your freepmail in about a minute. :)
Can’t get there on a tank of gas, and through all the rioting mobs in Chicago :((((( But will try :0))))
Bring some corn and beans please..............
LOL, oh ok, then... what about the rioting mobs in Detroit??
Plenty of corns and beans ready.... Can you support all my kitties too?
You'll never be anywhere near Detroit...........And they won't come up here, too many NRA types, plus it's 5 hours without considering the rioting mobs to go through.
I guess you could try, but unfortunately the kitties wouldn't stand much chance against our wildlife. Bobcats, cougars, wolves, coyotes, owls, foxes, it's a veritable gauntlet for the little ones.
Besides, they'd be happier by the pool.......
:-)
ok, that’s good.... I’d better load up the extra gas tanks....
Kitties and I will live in a tent on your lawn... please don’t run them over with Ava.... :0)
