Fox Business News debuts Imus in the Morning today at 6AM EDT.
Let 'er rip.
His first guest was awful. “Its all racism!” Even when Imus said “A lot of white people voted for Obama.” She reverted to the “If you disagree with Obama, you are a racist.” Over and over and over and over again.
I wouldn’t doubt that Fox insisted on diversity, particularly for Imus.
Please Don, better guests than racist blacks.
Yeah. I started this thread because I have been promoting this show over Morning Joe to get my dose of liberal speak but to have a died-in-the-wool RACEr as the first guest was a big disappointment.
Glenn Beck is on at 7:10 and we'll see how that goes.
FOX & FRIENDS: You guys are good and all but I watch Fox News all day and I gotta get some different perspective at least part of the day!

I-man bump. I used to listen to WABC on line in the mornings, but there were just too many commercials. That is not the way I want to start my day.
For the record, I like him. Among my reasons are his forthright talk about his own recovery from his addictions. He actually helped me decide to get myself cleaned up; so for that, he gets a lot of love from me.
I can understand that.
I live in rural central Virginia and only have DirecTV satellite so I'm not familiar with the shows you mention.
Now THAT is excellent. I like him, too, but he sends my blood pressure up. Of course, that's his gig. He invented shock-jock-ism.
He lost me when I heard him say Sarah Palin is stupid.

That one quote from that interview made me think I'd lost a lot of FRiends here for promoting him but maybe he'll redeem himself. He doesn't have to like Sarah like we do but to pile on and call her dumb is not at all good.
Imus will be dead before his kid finishes high school.
I'm surprised he's still alive now! One of the first over the top routines they did involved his cast yelling at him for milking sympathy for his prostate cancer. My father died of prostate cancer so I had a tough time laughing.
Imus is a decrepit old goat who needs to be put out to pasture at his crooked ranch.
True, but the premise of this thread is that he's still better than anti-conservative "conservative" Joe Scarborough over at MSNBC's Morning Joe.
No redemption for that kind of comment. He can go to hell.
Great Glenn Beck alcoholism story. He has that in common with Imus.
That went well. No politics, though.
I dont like Imus....but it was a great move by the Fox Business Channel as my cable company and many other do not carry it....but now the sizable heft of Imus Freaks out there and to a lesser extent the John Stossell fans (of which I am one) have a reason to petition the cable companies to get the channel.
I watched the interview with Glenn Beck, I actually that he did a good job.
