Dock dogs take the plunge

Patriot Streakn Rocket, who answers to Streak, stood out among the chaotic group of Labradors and golden retrievers roaming Discovery Green. At 11 inches tall and 10 pounds, he didnt seem like much of a contender in the long-jump competition. As a terrier, hes not a natural swimmer. And the 2-foot drop to the water below the dock must have seemed like a small cliff.
But Streak gleefully leapt without hesitation in every round of the recent Dock Dogs competition held at the downtown park....

Glad to see a G Shep in there! This is fun to watch on TV - wished we lived near a dock; my boy has done very well jumping into the lake to retrieve floats when he gets the chance.
