The US government didn't require his firing--it's not like the ridiculous congressional hearings over baseball and steroids.I think that congress, the justice department, and the courts need to do nothing but investigate professional sports... Not just baseball, but football, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, curling, and mumblypeg. I figure that the more time they spend ruining America's passtimes, the less time they'll have to spend on destroying the country itself.
I do have to say that watching congress-critters passing judgement on anyone as a liar is really rich! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

That is what I was thinking. Let’s be honest. There are 1,000 cooking shows now, and nobody gives a damn about the credentials of the chefs anymore.

I always thought that guy was a phony. Still he was not nearly as obnoxious as Bobby Flay.

It’s all been downhill on the Food Network since Two Fat Ladies ended, anyway.
To: meowmeow
Well at least now, he'll have something to legitimately pad his resume with - he was host of a popular Food Network show.
Anyway, if you are going to make up stuff, why make up something faggy like you helped design a wedding cake for some British welfare queen? I would have said that I prepared porterhouse steaks for Ronald Reagan's White House or something more manly like that.

he's not a fraud...the show is about challenges and he suceeds in a funny but efficient way....he is what he is...
so his resume was not true.....the show is true...his cooking style, is attitude, his capability....all true....

My favorite chef is an ex heroin user who likes punk rock and is married to a girl half his age.
Travel Channel renewed his contract no problem.

That cannot be her body. Her real body looks like she eats about a pie a day.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not in favor of resume padding. I’m simply remarking that this guy was not the CFO of a Dow Jones company, or a public official.
