Roswell officer's amazing deathbed admission raises possibility that aliens DID visit
Daily Mail ^ | 6/30/07 | Nick Pope

But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery - which casts new light on the incident and raises the possibility that we have, indeed, been visited by aliens.

Lieutenant Walter Haut was the public relations officer at the base in 1947, and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Colonel William Blanchard.

Haut died last year, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.

Last week, the text was released and asserts that the weather balloon claim was a cover story, and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar. He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.

He wasn't the first Roswell witness to talk about bodies. Local undertaker Glenn Dennis had long claimed that he was contacted by authorities at Roswell shortly after the crash and asked to provide a number of child-sized coffins.

Good Read, and a break from the other 'Aliens' :^)

I have a 90+ year old uncle who heard the first news reports on the radio about a disc landing. He's a firm believer in the conspiracy, and coverup.

The entire article is a must read for the 'chain' of information....

Yeah, and my Dad is the “man on the moon” who died of an over dose of eating cheese.

“So what is it about UFOs that continues to excite our imaginations? To some people, the subject has become almost a religion and perhaps that gets to the heart of it. Those who study the subject are on a quest not just for the truth, but for meaning.”

It just goes to show you that people will believe anything!
It is a “religion” to some. Facts and reality don’t stop them for believing what they WANT to believe. It tickles the imagination. Reality isn’t as exciting ... . Yes, we are alone!

I love how anything that is covered up is deemed to have been aliens.

S0.........has this affidavit been scanned and posted on the net?

I’m skeptical and would like to see it for myself — presumably it wasn’t faxed to the paper from a Kinkos in Texas.

It’s about as much of a religion as scientology. It’s just like the conspiracy theory nuts that claim the lunar landing was faked and that Desert Storm was “fought” at NTC. From someone that spent six months over there, it sure didn’t look like Kalifornia to me.

These people are nutcases

well whatever but I’m a serious Christian with 18 yrs studying religions....There are ufo’s in the bible and there are kicked out angels we will fight at Armaggedan.

God ,thru Christ also talks of the veil over our eyes in protection of things we need not see...............

one man’s opinion is another man’s wife.

There are two possibilities, either we’re alone in the universe, or we aren’t. I don’t know which is true, but both are equally frightening.

Quick, call Art Bell and the Kook to Kook show.

I will believe ET when I see him, or when his space ship crashes in Times Square or any other such venue.
Despite being over 60, spending many hours outside at night, and having owned and flown three airplanes, I have yet to see anything that could not be explained.

He’s done a great thing for his people in that part of NM by pushing the myth. Good for him. They could sure use the money.

Personally, with billions of stars and untold number of planets and solar systems out there in the universe, I would find it nearly impossible not to think there isn’t life out there.

I don’t think that makes me a lunatic, I’m just playing the numbers game here.

"one man’s opinion is another man’s wife"

Is that what you meant to say?

I don’t know about the veracity of this claim, but to me, to assume we humans are the only life or even the most intelligent life within the vast universe is the height of arrogance.
