In that regard....

I am reminded of the intro from the movie "baby boom", with Dianne Keaton, from 1987.::

"3 generations of women havd turned 2,000 years of tradidtion on its ear. Women now make up over 53% of the workforce."

Yeah, and look what "turning that tradition on it's ear has done. Children from stable, normal happily-married families are the EXCEPTION nowdays. Crime runs rampant, and many teens(expecially from those "broken homes") have no resepct for anyone, and have the "i'm entitled to what I want, without cost to me" mentality.

Another excerpt::

"Take J.C. Wiatt. She is a career-driven woman. She works from 5-9,6 days a week. (that is 72 HOURS, 12 hours a DAY, btw!!)."She is married to her job". She makes 6 figures from her advertising firm."

I don't know about you all, but I do NOT want to "work for the sake of workiong, or be "married to my job". 12 hours of REAL waork a day("NOT a "token" job, btw) would be so exhausting that one woul.d do little more than come home and drop in bed, every night. Money may be important, but NOT so important that you work so much you have no time to spend it, or no time to spend with the family. (of course, in such cases, most women of that kind do not have children, as they would get in the way of the "career").

I guess in the movie (which I have NOT seen, btw) She finds out that there is a bit more to life than work and career.
