The ***OFFICIAL*** Friday/Saturday Night Singles' Thread February 24th and 25th, 2006
Me ^ | February 24, 2006 | Me

Guess who's hosting this edition of the singles thread!?! Scary, ain't it folks.

Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....

What WAS I thinking!?!

So, my questions to all of you are:

What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?

Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"

Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))

Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)

Najida, a couple drinks for me and the lady here!

OK, Hoodlum, let's go...

At last my love has come along
My lonely days are over
And life is like a song

Ohh yeah yeah
At last the skies above are blue
My heart as wrapped up in clover
The night I looked at you

I found a dream, that I could speak to
A dream that I can call my own
I found a thrill to rest my cheek to
A thrill that I have never known

Oh man,
I'm sorry to hear that. I love my plants.

Maybe in cyberspace or plastic until the dog gets over the chewing??

I thought you were asking if you could post your cartoon, or at least a link to it. Don't tell me we have to go searching for it!! (Or were you just talking to RR and I am making a complete fool of myself?)

Yes, but where's your chaperone?

You around, MM? We apparently need a chaperone...

First-year students at Texas A&M's Vet School were receiving their first anatomy class, with a real dead cow. They all gathered around the surgery table with the carcass covered with a white sheet.

The professor started the class by telling them, "In vet medicine, it is necessary to have two very important qualities as a doctor:

The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the animal body. In example.", the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the dead cow, withdrew it and stuck it in his mouth.

"Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his students. The students freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, and eventually, took turns sticking a finger in the anal opening of the dead cow and sucking on it.

When everyone finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, "The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention."

I always hated those too, we call them pitters. My sister is a nurse who works in ER and once she had a construction guy come in who was bit by a tarantula on his privates from sitting on one of those. I always avoid them at all costs after that story.

I am quite comfortable going in the woods (bring toilet paper and dispose of discreetly, a shovel is handy if necessary). The commonly used ones stink incredibly! No one should be forced to use those.

I live outside a city in the woods.

And my moving in early kinda guiltified the contractor to hurry up and finish a few projects.

I will say this, the queen sized air bed I bought I'm still sleeping on! It IS the most confortable bed ever!

As for complaining, Hrmpt, ask my relatives...they were about to shoot me ;)

I'd do it all over again. It was fun

Yup, misery can be fun in the right circumstances! Wonderful memories I'm sure.
