The inference people usually draw is that teenage boys actually WANT to have sex and the teenage girls don't. While I think the odds are probably higher, I don't think that consensual sex should be rape by statue for either sex.

I don't think that consensual sex should be rape by statue for either sex. Fortunately, or unfortunately, as the case may be, certain jurisdiction disagree. Which, if you want to be LEGAL, you make certain inquiries as to the law of the land..

This is one of those situations where the feminists get it wrong
This relationship requires a very different type of aggression than the
Older male / Younger female sexual relationship does.
