We’re in serious trouble. No replacement is going to get enough votes AND be reasonably conservative. Right now, it appears that Speaker Johnson is running a minority coalition government (RINOs helping Democrats). But if he is ousted, we will be extending a reluctant welcome to Speaker Jeffries, and things will likely be even worse.

I wish I could offer a positive response, but I can’t. My district was gerrymandered from purple to 75% Democrat last year. We have been let down on the border and FISA, and no one gives a damn on controlling spending.

The great conservative on local radio, Mark Davis, has been silent on his buddies in Congress that caved on FISA. No matter, he draws no ratings of any consequence.

I have but two votes to cast in November: for Trump and Cruz. I can think of few others fighting for us in DC.
