Matt Corrall is the poster boy for why a high draft prospect shouldn’t play in meaningless bowl games...and while we’re at it, the entire bowl system is so antiquated and flawed that it will end up killing itself; we are seeing the mere tip of the opt out iceberg...
Matt Corral is actually the poster boy for playing in a bowl games. The injury wasn’t serious and he’s massively increased his brand value ($$$) by “manning up.” He’s got a higher profile now and that will translate into dollars from sponsors.
