No - $4.51!
[[[Remember The Psy-Op Called The Great Toilet Paper Shortage? ]]]
Yes, it was caused by people crapping at home instead of at work or anywhere else.
Oh, and buy stock in backhoe companies. Septic systems are failing all over the place due to the same people crapping at home instead of work or anywhere else.
My gauge for the health of the local economy used to be the number of wheat pennies and bicentennial quarters I’d see in my change; when there were a lot, I knew people were having a rough time.
It’s been a long time since I’ve used coins to pay for something. Credit cards are safer and more convenient, plus a lot of them give you rewards for each dollar you spend.
i saw a sign up at lowes about this but didnt pay attention
I think it said coins.
My local stores have had a steady supply for a few months now. I think the one package per family stopped some of the crazy buying. People panic and don’t think about what they are doing. That makes things worse.
When the panhandlers at the highway exits start taking debit and credit cards, I’ll believe there really is a shortage.
Right on the counter next to the cash register was a large plastic jug with a sign on it soliciting donations for a local food bank or other charity. The jug was filled almost to the brim with about 15 pounds of loose change.
Living through the Tower of Babel v2.0 has made it easy for me to understand the mechanics of the first episode in Biblical times.
Every few thousand years God just decides to turn the entire human race retarded at the same time.
LOL!
I dont believe there is a coin shortage. That said, I havent used cash for anything but valet tips in years.
And weed, but still...
“We all know”?????
To that I say, “Whatcha mean”we”,Kimosabe?
Honestly, I felt the stimulus payments to people who hadn’t seen their income disrupted were pointless (and I needed the money, but kept working without disruption). Now that I see these higher prices seem here to stay, I don’t feel bad about taking the money.
I’m still using the 10 pack I bought 3 months ago!
I don’t believe it.
Did not from the start.
People need to be carefully and surreptitiously prepping while we have the goods and time.
This fall, I see all hell breaking loose as the dems try to disrupt the election and keep Trump out of office.
Interestingly, their very desperation is a good indicator that they really do think Trump is going to win again. Otherwise, they would not be pulling out all the stops.
I managed to find some masks and gloves at the local Sam’s and picked some up.
I’m doing my part. I went to Burger King and paid for my entire meal in change. I got to the window and said,” here I hope this helps”.
First I had to get a safe for my .22 ammo.
Then another one for my toilet paper.
Now I need one for my loose change.
Running out of room for safes.
There was no toilet paper shortage per se—there was a shock to the supply chain, due to millions of idiots loading up on enough toilet paper to sh*t for a thousand years without going to the store again.
The Fed is rationing coins to the banks because the Mints were shut down as nonessential, AFAIK. This is not a push to eliminate cash.
Plumbers at work are taking in the cash. Not only are septic systems failing on their own, people are flushing baby wipes as well. The guys are working 7 days a week.
