Prof. Jonathan Turley on CBS News said that Rep. Nadler made a “major blunder” by insulting the Senators.
He prefaced the mention of a blunder by saying he teaches his law students not to do what Nadler had just done during the impeachment trial…Nadler had “insulted” the Republican Senators listening to the impeachment of President Trump.
Nadler said the Senate could be engaged in a cover-up. One key Senator spoke out to say she was offended.
Senator Lisa Murkowski, a moderate Republican, said she was offended by House manager Nadler’s claim that because Republican members voted against allowing new testimony and evidence, they were engaged in a “cover-up.” Murkowski spoke after Nadler’s accusation: “I took it as offensive. As one who is listening attentively and working hard to get to a fair process, I was offended.”
Nadler said that Republicans were “voting for a cover-up, voting to deny witnesses, an absolutely indefensible vote, obviously a treacherous vote.”
The use of the word “cover-up” was everywhere in the first few days of impeachment because the Democrats want to paint the Republican Senators as corrupt. The Democrats know the impeachment is going nowhere so they plan on planting the seed that the process was corrupt because of Republicans.
Nadler was whipping up the violent leftists. He knows the “impeachment” was DOA in the Senate and is is preparing the groundwork for anarchist riots.
Nadless is a night school lawyer who I don’t think has ever practiced law, or even taken a bar exam. He has never passed a breakfast bar or taco bar either...

When the impeachment team has lost Lisa Murkowski, they have surrendered any chance of ever making even one more point in their presentation.

Nadler is just painting the tape for election ads about a coverup.
The fact that she’s saying she’s insulted is similarly just a play for the voters to sympathize with her.

A lot of politicians and political pundits have that same problem.

I have been trying to figure out just how the democrats will wiggle out of their stated desire to call witnesses. It may depend on those four Republican senators on how it turns out.
But Nadler slapping the senators around in their own house is puzzling. Is he really that stupid? No wonder Schiff doesn’t want him talking.
There is no way in hell the democrats will allow Hunter Biden to go before the Senate for testimony, knowing he is as dirty as they come and certainly not smart enough to stand toe-to-toe with Trump’s lawyers.
Truley’s ‘by the book’ - and he understands human nature. I assumed he would catch this blunder... and he did.
