An Iranian member of Parliament confirmed that the Obama administration granted citizenship to approximately 2,500 Iranians -including family members of politicians and other VIPs- in the run-up to the Iranian nuclear agreement.
Via Fox News: “He claimed it was done as a favor to senior Iranian officials linked to President Hassan Rouhani, and he alleged the move sparked a competition among Iranian officials over whose children would benefit from the scheme.”
“Ghasseminejad said some Iranians have called for their deportation from America: “Iranians don’t understand why the U.S. government allows the offspring of the regime officials to live in the U.S., while the U.S. has introduced a travel ban for ordinary Iranian citizens and many Americans are imprisoned in Iran. That is why many Iranians on social media have been urging the U.S. government to deport the children of the regime officials.”
Iran is one of seven countries included in Trump’s travel ban, upheld last week by the Supreme Court.”

In other words, Javad Zarif was John Kerry’s counterpart in official Iran nuclear deal negotiations, the same negotiations that eventually ended up with Iran being given 150 Billion in cash with literally no SIGNED agreement and, thus, no strings attached.

As to the first - I believe that to be true. It would be easy enough to do - recruiting those who came to the US just before or after the Revolution. Of course, if after - they took the risk of returning but perhaps were good enough actors to pull it off!
There used to be a time when Americans would stick out like a sore thumb there and we couldn’t get any human intelligence out but so many came here early on and became citizens, they’d fit in..no questions asked. Not to say they wouldn’t be putting their lives on the line..Would they do it for the country that took them in? I don’t know. I worked with an Iranian gal in CA and we became quite friendly until the day she praised bin Laden and I never spoke to her again! So trust them - probably not!
If you just looked at what Obama did, with the exception of taking out Bin Laden, you’d be hard pressed to NOT conclude that he’s an Iranian operative. I guess OBL was a throwaway to keep people off his scent.
