Pelosi FEARS an actual impeachment resolution to set up a formal impeachment inquiry because it would mean putting “moderate” Democrats (really liberal Democrats who pretend to be “moderate” in red districts) in peril. So instead they pass something today to go through the motions of impeachment without actually doing it.
...but it is an excuse to have continued fishing investigations. They’ll just use this to demand documents until they “find” something.
It’s completely violating the 4th Amendment.

You say "actual" as if this means something, but it doesn't. As I outlined she and her party have everything they need to impeach Trump. They have empowered committee chairs with subpenoa power.
I also don't think the red-disctricts Democrats feel any fear of voting for an inquiry. They just did it this morning - all but two voted YES.
The "motions of impeachment" only require one thing: Articles of Impeachment be presented to the House and passed.
We're in the middle of that process, and if you think that somehow Nancy's vote was imprecise or imperfect and therefore can't result in achieving that goal you are, in my opinion, simply wrong.
This will be proven, probably by the end of the year, when Nadler passes the Articles of Impeachment out of the Judiciary committee.
You might still be sitting there arguing that this is a fake impeachment because you don't like the rule Pelosi is using, but the truth is the majority in the House has wide latitude to craft whatever rules they like.
A full house vote on the Articles is the one absolute requirement, and it's clear that they have that in hand already (despite so called Red District Democrats).
We could set up a pool on the date of the Full House vote though. I say Feb 28, 2020. A Friday.
I believe Nancy has said that she wants to pass the Impeachment out of the House before Christmas, and they probably will.
But, from her point of view it's not a big deal to drag it out an extra month or even two, so that could happen.
Every day that occurs between TODAY, when the Official Inquiry Rules were passed, and THAT DAY when the House votes for Impeachment and sends the articles to the Senate for trial is a day the MSM can and will report and pontificate about "The Shocking New Bombshell Evidence in the Impeachment of President Trump".
It's sickening to think about, but that is what we are all in for. And whether it's 2 months, or 3 months or 4 months, it's just not that big a deal for Nancy and the Dems. They will be enjoying every slanted NBC News report, every poll result showing growth in Americans supporting Trump's removal, every panicked Republican who goes turncoat and denounces the Donald.
We really really need arrests and indictments of the Deep State Traitors now to have any chance of holding onto some part of the narrative.
I wish it would, but don't believe that will happen. We will hear one excuse after the other until 2025 or President loses the 2020 election. And what is more important the perps and the co-conspirtors of the ongoing coup know this.
Which would take up to FIVE Democrat senators off the presidential campaign trail right in the middle of primary season for THREE to SIX WEEKS. Do you think they want to do that?

No way Nadler is going to say "Oh, sorry fellow committee chairs, especially you Shifty, you found a lot of stuff, but I'm not seeing impeachable offenses here. The Judiciary committee chooses not to forward charges to the full House.
Ok, obviously that's not going to happen. So he WILL create the Impeachment charges and he WILL forward them to the Full House and they WILL vote on them, and they WILL pass.
Then, finally it's mostly in the hands of Mitch McConnell how things go in the Senate.
The House can only control the date they turn things over to the Senate. Your excellent point suggests that they would rather do it sooner instead of later.
That fits in with some reporting I heard that they were going to try to get it done by Christmas. That would be good for the House, and not-so-great for the Senators running for President. January is the last month to campaign for the early Feb. Iowa and New Hampshire Dem primary contests.
But there is no better time as tings move forward you have Super Tuesday.
I suggested on a previous post that if Mitch is really clever he could time it so the key final votes on Impeachment is the July 13-16. The Democratic Convention.
Well, Rush is saying this is all a song and dance act with NO impeachment. Just pretend impeachment to keep investigations going into the general election.
Rush is usually right about things like this. That would be amazing, if they did that. I don't see it though.
They have built the expectation of Impeachment, so they have to make it happen now.
Can you imagine the fun President Trump would have with the "do-nothing" Congress if they haven't impeached him by next fall!
When this side show finished and Nancy was done with her prayers and speech, did she jump on her private government jet and head to California..
I hope Mitch McConnell cancels the Winter break and tells them all they will work through NOV. AND DEC...there is business to be done and not this impeachment bull shit...

Yep, it’s been making me mad all day. All the twisted headlines and use of verbiage has been outright propaganda to make everyone think he has done been impeached by this one rules vote. And if it is not nipped in the bud and put in check, the lie will become locked into the ignorant and assumed as true.
