Just did a quick tax calculation. she will get all of her federal taxes back in addition to a Child and Dependent Care Credit of $750, a Child Tax Credit of $1000, and an Earned Income Tax Credit of $680. So yes, very misleading... No surprise there.

ALL of which backs up what I have been saying....
Democrats don’t know a thing about taxes & how they are structured.
I challenge every single Democrat in Congress & elsewhere to list for me the different kinds of Depreciation & what is required in that structure.
I will bet an ice cream bar none can detail those differences.

You did a lot of work there. Quick one I did, including only basic stuff: Head of household is $18M deduction. So she's down to $17M in income. At 10-12%, her tax bill is only $1800 or so, NOT the $6M Mrs Porter claims. So just the Child tax credit (up to $2M) should cover that!
So, she's paying about $2M in SS/FICAtaxes that you can't get back, but income-tax-wise, she should be getting more refund back than she had withheld!!!
And like others have mentioned, where's Dad's income? Excepting that, where's the child support $$? This is a really poorly done 'example'...
