Mad Maxine Waters called in Trump Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin to testify on Tuesday. She knew he had prior commitments but held him in committee for three-and-a-half hours. Then she berated him, abused him and threatened him when he asked how long the sideshow would continue.
This was a Democrat show-trial.

Mnuchin could have simply stated for the record that he was officially ending his participation in the proceedings due to his prior commitment(s) and that any continuation of the proceedings would be done under his protest and specifically and generally disavowed by him. Then walk out.

You are assuming JFK had principles, like he said in his speeches. In actuality, he had about as many principles as his father. Today, he'd say whatever he had to to get elected, just like his fellow Dems.
It almost seems pre-ordained what is happening before our eyes.

We lose the House, due of course to a combination of things, but mostly NO SUPPORT from Ryan and associates, BUT

SO, WHAT IF THE FOLLOWING NOW HAPPENS?
1. It looks to me that you’re going have Biden or Bernie the nominee.
2. Either one will play dirty tricks on all the rest, and receive the rath of the left wing branch.
3. Large swaths of democrats either refrain from voting or they vote for?
4. Schultz the independent party candidate or Trump himself.
5. This results in (drum roll here please), Trump carries 48 out of 50 states with a 60 vote Senate and a large majority in the House.
6. The next 6 years, Trump selects oodles of Circuit court judges and
7. 3 Supreme Court judges that will include replacing one conservative judge and two liberal judges.
8. Trump takes the world in a completely different direction of cooperation and world peace by forming a true Security Council made of like minded leaders, headed by China and United State followed by Japan, Europeans, Japan, Israel, and other Middle Eastern Countries.
10. I forgot to mention that during the next 6 months, Barr will expose what everyone knows about the Obama administration and the cohorts who spied on Trump.
11. Brennan and Clapper to save their butts will sing like songbirds to implicate Obama and his people.
12. Barr will prosecute the Clintons on a variety of counts.
13. There will be attempts internally on Trump’s life. He will survive, but in a wheel chair for months.
