The flooding in Missouri is just starting and may wind up being almost as bad. I-29 is closed near the Iowa border due to flooding. St. Joe is bracing for rising waters. It’s going to be a messy week or ten days.

Noon — First Baptist Church in Bellevue is currently housing 160 families and accepting anyone who needs shelter or has a trailer they can park on their lot. They’re in desperate need of formula, diapers and wipes. Some of the women sheltered there are approaching their due dates and have no car seats/cots etc. People are sleeping on air mattresses but pumps are scarce.
Yes it’s going to be bad as all that water continues to move.

This is an amazing rescue of a pony too big to get it on the airboat so they rescued it on a huge piece of styrofoam. Loving Nebraskans. You won’t see this on the evening news:

So much damage to homes from huge ice boulders. Still animals stranded they’re trying to drop hay to help them. It is very bad. I don’t understand why Trump isn’t talking about it, at least I haven’t heard of him talking about it.
Now Iowas is flooding and its heading to Missouri. This is as bad or worse than Houston, but alas it seems to be flyover country. Breaks my heart.
