Dan Crenshaw, the Anti-AOC, Perfectly Sums Up the “Green New Deal”
DB Daily Update ^ | David Blackmon

Posted on 02/09/2019 3:33:09 AM PST by EyesOfTX

The Evening Campaign Update (Because The Campaign Never Ends)

Devastation in 280 characters or less. – He isn’t as flashy or bug-eyed crazy as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, but in his own quiet way, Texas freshman Congressman Dan Crenshaw is every bit the rising star on the right as the infamous, roof-top-dancing AOC is on the left.

After two days of hilarity and 800-word detailed analyses of AOC’s Climate Scam wet dream that she refers to as the “Green New Deal,” Congressman Crenshaw – a rare Republican who actually “gets” the potential power of social media – took to Twitter this evening to completely dismantle the farce in three short sentences:

Dan Crenshaw ✔ @DanCrenshawTX The fact that the Green New Deal also eliminates new carbon-free nuclear energy indicates this plan is not about carbon emissions.

It’s about destroying our economy so they can build a socialist one.

To Dems’ credit, at least they’re being more honest about their extremism.

Ouch.

OMG, AOC, the ball’s all, like, totally in your, like, court or something. You know?

Here is just how perfectly devastating and succinct Crenshaw’s tweet truly is:

Sentence 1: Gets directly to the critical point that conclusively demonstrates this particular document produced by the Global Climate Scam is not about “climate” at all;

Sentence 2: Lays out the absolute truth about the way socialist/fascist brutes throughout history have always operated – you must first destroy before you can begin to “build” your socialist paradise. Like Venezuela, for instance;

Sentence 3: Thanks the Democrats for so starkly and absolutely showing their true brutish face to the public, an event so rare in modern times that those of us among the thinking must do everything we can to appreciate and preserve it for posterity.

Thank you, Congressman Crenshaw, for posting what is in fact a truly perfect tweet.

That is all.

This business of repeating the three letter acronym AOC is politically risky.

What allows a politician so completely lacking in substance to gain such quick name recognition? Usually it’s a weird name like Obama - but other hooks can be catchy nicknames like Bubba.

Another common hook is the first-name-only thing - like Prince, Maddona or Hillary.

An acronym like JFK can be effective too - and that is what Ocasio-Cortez handlers are counting on - they may also be using it to avoid the Cortez surname which is a likely enough name for a President, but not for a President of the United States.

I think we should boycott this marketing ploy by avoiding the use of the three letter acronym and just calling her Ms Cortez (or Occasional-Cortex).

I’m told that thorium reactors are intrinsically much safer that uranium reactors, they can’t run away, they produce far fewer waste products, and cannot make plutonium.

Is this accurate?

I’d love to get your take on the Thorium reactors they’ve been recently promoting. Good? Bad? Untested? I’ve done quite a bit of research on it as a “consumer” but would love to get an “insider’s” take on it. Good? Bad? Untested? Thanks.

No flame, but we've had over 100 commercial nuclear power plants in the US operating over the past 50 years. Nuclear power now accounts for about 20% of US output. In all those years, not a single person has been seriously harmed by radiation from one of these plants. Not one. The only injuries / deaths are those typical of other power plants, such as steam pipe failures, falls, etc.

If you really believe what you stated, please provide the basis for your belief. My 30+ years of working nuclear power has convinced me that you probably don't know anything about the subject.

I sort of think we should call her “that-congress-girl-from-New-York-that- flails-like-a-pole-dancer”.

Creating a toxic waste byproduct that is so toxic that you have to build a 10,000 year waste storage plan and facility could be considered dangerous.

You get the energy and a hundred generations of people get the responsibility to clean up after you...

Love this guy, future POTUS, reminds me on 1998ish when Sarah won the Gov. seat in Alaska, some of us saw that raw talent, this guy has got that “it” factor....

Have to agree. When it comes to intelligence, with and panache, he rocks it.
