I’m all for it in that sense because they have no mercy on us. And we can’t fight with our hands behind our backs. I just am saying it is terrible it has come to this. In 10 years, imagine being judged for crap that isn’t considered offensive today. Hard to imagine sonce it seems everything is offensive now.

Tell me about it, I was in College at the time and none of this crap would have been tolerated back then, and back then people were more laid back. Being “politically correct” didn’t even exist back then, but still, if anyone ever dressed up in a KKK outfit or blackface back then they would have had their ass kicked, but that’s me. I grew up in New York city and went to schools and college with a lot of black people. SUNY Old Westbury college for example back then use to have rap night with a lot of blacks. It was great back then, a lot of fun. There wasn’t any of this race flaming, race baiting by democrats so white and blacks regularly partied and danced together. Obama and his domestic enemy followers LITERALLY set race relations back 60 years. The crap that goes on today with the race flaming, race baiting, virtue signaling and this “white privilege” crap was unthinkable back in the 1980s and these domestic enemies get away with it because Republicans do absolutely nothing about it.

I am reminded of how Capone ended up in prison, not because of the heinous crimes he committed or ordered over decades, but because he didn't file his tax returns correctly. The gubner will be crushed for the wrong reason, but when a society promotes injustice, the unintended consequences are at best ironic and at worst laughable. The lesson here is that every revolution, with the singular exception of the American Revolution (which technically was a reformation and not a revolution, but that's a separate issue) consumes its children, and then turns and consumes its parents.
Wasn’t there a single conservative in that class? There probably were but, being fair-minded, didn’t want to ruin Northman’s life over a picture from 30+years ago. That is not how it would have been treated if Northam had been a Republican.
I have seen two TV clips with a series of Dems answering a question about what Northam said, instead of using the interview as an opportunity to restate his horrific words so that more people would know about it. Perhaps each time the questioner was a liberal acting as defense attorney and giving the Dem a chance to say that they didn’t not know what Northam has said, which is what every one of them said. If the parties had been reversed, the questioner would have repeated Northman’s entire statement every time as part of the “question.” The press acts as prosecutor for Republicans.
