This gov’t belief that a central group is pushing out ‘orders’ and manipulating people....might work on some past riot agendas. In this case, so far, there’s been no central group running the riots. The Macron-crew will look over this and find it complicated to aim police investigations.
Added to this, the student riots are attached to another Macron decision....bringing back the draft and forcing all 16-year-olds to participate in some national program (that announcement came out this week). Again, maybe the Macron-crew thinks there’s one central group planning the agenda....but no, this is a wide open development....all driven by pool planning within the Macron government.
Student riots are about forcing hs kids to kneel with their hands on their heads yesterday.
They submitted a list of demands and met with govt yesterday. There pretty much is one central leader. There were 8 demands. The ones I can remember are 20% tax cut for middle class, France First, end all immigration, stop tax subsidies to the media. I probably have a few more in posts from last night.

No problem. They will just designate some protester or other as the ‘leader of the mob’, and blame him and anyone they can associate with him as ‘the conspirators and instigators,’ and use that as a reason to crack heads and arrest everyone they can get their hands on.
Besides, 2 points, this being Europe, there probably is someone, somewhere, planning and writing slogans and agendas and lists of demands, whether or not anyone is listening to them; and the Gov’t, being in the central planning and directing business itself, at least believes to the point of certainty that this is so. And the police will look for them until they find them, even if they have to create them. C’est le meme as the Mueller Special Prosecutor’s Probe.
There is a big difference between a draft and military service. We had a far better military when healthy young men were subject to call up and this informed their decisions at seventeen. “National Service” is a far different animal. Being a ‘community activist’ is not akin to serving on an aircraft carrier or in an infantry regiment.
