Sparked by his narrow defeat in a Texas Senate race, Beto O’Rourke is scrambling the 2020 presidential primary field, freezing Democratic donors and potential campaign staffers in place as they await word of his plans.
Even prior to O’Rourke’s meteoric rise, many Democratic fundraisers had approached the large number of 2020 contenders with apprehension, fearful of committing early to one candidate. But the prospect of a presidential bid by O’Rourke, whose charismatic Senate candidacy captured the party’s imagination, has suddenly rewired the race.

No doubt. He’s not to be ignored but really has nothing impressive to show. He will be handled by the real contenders. I suspect he has more in his background that the left can leverage to destroy than the right can do. He’s too wealthy not to be painted as a hypocrite to the anti capitalist, anti business, anti freedom left wing base.

Considering the sordid rumors that swirl around Kamala Harris and Willie Brown, it’s probably not a good idea for her to run for president.
She probably will anyway.
With a name like O’Rourke he will certainly get that important Irish vote.
No problem, he’ll change his name to Beto Patel Gupta O’Rourke.

The voters have probably wised up after electing Obama....
Technically Obama wasn’t even black. Somebody with his half-white ancestry is called “colored” in South Africa, while in Haiti he would be part of the despised mulatto class. And have you seen the pictures taken when Obama visited his relatives in Kenya? Compared with them, he looks white!
A LOT of pundits said he had no intention of winning that election. It was merely a “learning” step to the presidential bid. It was not lost on a lot of us that a lot of the articles about him regarded the response of voters in NYC and California.
He’s being groomed for the 2020 election in the same way the “next big pop music star” is being groomed as I type this. It’s how it works these days. We will be hearing about him incessantly, and for no apparent reason each time. Take this article as an example of that.
Mark my words.
Given that Obama’s only redeeming quality was that he was black, that doesn’t say much.

Kamala is not eligible. Citizenship requirements are not met. Like Schwarzenegger, she can serve in some offices, but not POTUS.
