Michael Cohen would rather spend time behind bars than become a government informant and flip on President Trump, a friend of Cohen's told the Daily News Friday.

Having known him for the past two decades, the longtime associate called Cohen a "bulldog" who would do anything to protect his client.

"Someone of his character, he would rather go to jail than present information on Trump," the friend told The News.

The pal described Cohen as a man of many trades who never necessarily specialized in one area. "Sometimes you make mistakes when you work like that," he said.....

But they don’t even know what information they want. Just anything that can possibly get Trump impeached. Obama has made the FBI and DOJ a political arm of the Democrat party.

That’s not what some of his friends were saying three weeks ago. One of Trumps’s former lawyers who claims to also be long time friends with Cohen said, Michael would be afraid of being raped in jail by a black guy, and could never adjust. Some friend, who doesn’t know when to be quiet.

Based on what you’ve learned about him from the MSM?

Micheal Cohen has nothing to rat on President Trump about. There's nothing there.

That is SUCH a purposely misleading headline. It implies that he has things to “rat out.” I loathe the press.

It’s becoming a little scary that articles discuss the “fact” someone is facing a lot of prison time when nobody knows a single charge against them and has not heard an ounce of evidence showing they did anything criminal. This really is the they can find some crime against anybody scenario.

He shouldn’t have to. The people who illegally raided his residence should be hanged for treason.

Not only that but Cohen knows that Trump is the one and the only one person that has his golden ticket to get out of prison (Presidential Pardon).

What would he rat him out about?

Trump is guilty of no crimes.

The man has built a huge fortune in the toughest environment on the planet: New York City.

Every prosecutor in that town has been looking to nail him for something for the last 40 years.

They got nothing. He’s a straight arrow.

Michael Cohen so represents the low rent shyster lawyer.

There's several angles to this.

First, yep, he's a shyster, who Trump used for some stuff. Definitely in the Better Call Saul mode. But, the question is, was he freelancing or working for Trump when he shook down AT&T and Novartis? I think he was freelancing.

After all, many companies freely made donations to the Clinton Foundation, ostensibly for the good of the world, but in reality to buy influence. And, I'm sure a number of corporate community projects were undertaken to curry favor with Obama (ask yourself, why would CVS build a store in the nether parts of Baltimore?).

It's the way of the world, or at least its reasonable to assume it, because US politicians have become so incredibly corrupt. Just like most of the rest of the world.

There are two ironies I see here. First, that AT&T and Novartis felt obligated to apologize with these actions since they were done to curry favor with a Trump administration. (That they didn't work is another matter... Trump went against the AT&T merger, and is trying to rationalize runaway drug pricing.)

Second, since its the way of the world, and has been the way here (look at our lobbying industry), isn't it ironic that we have a Foreign Corrupt Practices Act which puts our companies at a disadvantage in competing against other companies with fewer legislated scruples around the world?

“...Michael Cohen would go to prison before ratting out President Trump...”

Michael Cohen is most likely under pressure to make something up as Mueller and the rest of the cabal know full well that there is not “there” there.

Will he cave and make up a fiction that would implicate the President? I have no idea but would tend to doubt it.
