Donald Trump Jr. and his wife Vanessa Trump are separating, they announced in a joint statement Thursday.
"After 12 years of marriage, we have decided to go our separate ways," the statement said. "We will always have tremendous respect for each other and our families. We have five beautiful children together and they remain our top priority. We ask for your privacy during this time."

If five children are really a priority, you can find a way to put your differences aside and stay together for their sake.
Divorce does NOT make things better for the kids.
Meaning they know that they are going to go under the media “proctoscope” and is trying to allay some of that for his wife.
I tend to agree with previous postings that maybe this is a “political” split so the family is left alone. I have no problem with being wrong, but it smells like it.

You're right. Donald Jr. is a product of divorce, so that is the example he grew up with.

It might if the kids and wife are in physical danger due to the high profile nature of the father and grandfather. Remember, Vanessa spent a stent in the hospital recently. They may be doing this to keep the kids and wife safer.
I tend to believe it is because she can’t handle the political targeting. Shame for those kids. They have beautiful kids, but she filed and that’s that.

I think that has a lot to do with it. The envelope with the white powder was probably the last straw for her. So sorry this is happening.

Prayers that they get with strong counsel; it will save their marriage and their children will not have to suffer such heartbreak. Kids tend to blame themselves for their parents’ separation.
Oh please. Just because parents were divorced really does not mean kids are destined to get divorced because that is what they were taught.
