17 people lost their lives in Parkland when Nikolas Cruz committed a mass shooting at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018. The people range from students to coaches, and they were all doing what they do on a typical school day. Some were at work. Some were in class. Everyone was doing what they were supposed to be doing when they were alerted about the school shooter. The shots rang out, people scrambled, and innocent blood was spilled like broken faucets running continuously until dry.
Leftists called for gun control. Right wingers called for mental health checks. Meanwhile, 17 people were fighting for their lives while everyone bickered about how to fix the problem. The biggest problem is that no one can ever compromise and we will see more school shootings and more mental health and severe trauma issues.
Saying we need gun control is a cop-out. Assuming it's mental illness accomplishes nothing. The real truth hides in the minds and lives of the people who fall so low in their life that the only way they can get attention is by committing mass acts of terror and shootings. What happened to this young man that made him so evil that he felt it was his life calling to murder 17 people and hope to kill more?

Diane Feinstein just Twittered “I plan to introduce a bill to require ALL firearms purchases from gun dealers be restricted to individuals who are at least 21 years old. If you can’t buy a handgun or a bottle of beer, you shouldn’t be able to buy an AR-15”.
I looked up the ages of some of the mass shooters. All except this guy were over 21.
All these innocent souls lost, and many more wounded in such a tragedy of the incompetence in this “see something, say something” era where the official response is sorry, we might be able to do better next time.

Talk to them, and actually LISTEN to them.
Spend time with them and let them know you care about them.
Simply doing that would solve a lot of behavioral problems.
Also, be wary of psyco meds unless the kid genuinely needs them.

I’m beginning to think that the FBI has been so penetrated with deep-state operatives that they purposely ignore such leads in the hopes that a mass shooting will take place, to bolster the deep-state campaign to disarm the American people.

But if they stopped mass, gruesome killings, how shall they press for gun control, or shall we say gun confiscation? How shall they and there ilk have absolute control of the masses, as long as they are allowed to own guns?
I suggest that it may be more in line with their objectives to quietly, behind the scenes help along these “little” killings. You can’t make an omelet, after all, without cracking a few eggs.
The NICS check needs to know everyone that’s schizophrenic and on SSRI’s.
Look, I’m as pro 2nd amendment as is possible. However, my mother was a paranoid schizophrenic. From the age of 13-18 I slept with a knife under my pillow because I was terrified of her. I can give all my shooting credentials ad nauseum. She should have been flagged on NICS checks. She was as crazy as they come. She wasn’t like this until about age 40. My youth growing up was about as “Walton’s Family” country upbringing that you could imagine.
Maybe they should abandon the policy of not calling the police no matter how violent the student is.
Maybe they shouldn’t ignore reports of threatening posts on social media.
Maybe they should allow teachers and administrators who wish to train and carry a firearm.
Maybe they could allow school vouchers and let parent choose the type of school they want their children to go to. i
Maybe they should invite God back into school.
But they won’t do any of that. Instead they will attempt to make ownership of firearms more expensive and more difficult for law abiding citizens.
Especially #3 (and #5 of course) - if a school shooter knows once he starts shooting that 5 or 6 armed people will be there in under a minute, it would take away a lot of the appeal.
