I don't personally know any credible youtube etc. who accepted the initial DEFCON1 assertion as fact. They all started trying to find out what was going on with that immediately.
It didn't ring true with us because it just didn't fit other realities we know about--including Qx's Navy years.
The Potter guy in this video sounds quite reasonable nuking the DEFCON stuff. Evidently mistakes were made that are unlikely to be revisited.
He also verbalizes awareness that there's a strong need for straight-forward disclosure and leaving the puzzle piece searches more behind.
Time will tell.
