Carter is a Roosevelt democrat. He is honorable, intelligent, with huge integrity. Sadly, he is as dumb as the day is long. By micromanaging he was so overwhelmed by the minutia of everything he touched he did not have an overall strategy. Reagan painted in large strokes. Carter tried to paint a masterpiece with a single bristle brush. He was lost in the details.
