Elections can be a sham, a fraud as was the case in Venezuela last weekend.....
Elections can be influenced by business interests with massive campaign contributions plus threats to close down operations and take away people's jobs as was the case in the Scottish independence referendum at few years ago.
Some or all of these elements are in play as options as Spain's major Uniparties backed by the big business and big banking interests move together to shut down Catalonia's independence movement......
Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy announced that the leaders of Catalonia will be removed from power and the powers of its parliament will be restricted.....
...some 500-thousand people took to the streets of Catalonia, which would be equivalent of more than 20 million people on the streets of the United States protesting..
Catalonia's President Carles Puigdemont says Catalonia will not accept the plan for direct rule from Madrid.....
.....sets the stage for some sort of confrontation as national police would have to again use force like they did at polling stations and government offices before and during the referendum on October 1st.....
Will the local police obey the national police?.....
... the Oregon Standoff protest last year with local police being the supporters of the national police, the FBI. They were fully involved in the aggressive operations against non violent protestors up to and including the murder of LaVoy Finicum.
When one local lawman, Grant County Oregon Sheriff Glenn Palmer, suggested talking to the protestors and releasing the ranchers jailed.....
Other sheriffs in Oregon issued a statement in support of the FBI operations and some local opponents of Sheriff Palmer made corruption allegations against him.....
Maybe the local lawmen in Catalonia will have more mettle than the ones in this country who bend their knee to federal power.

I see some connection to matters in Oregon and the Oregon Standoff last year in local Catalonian police and their relation to the national government crackdown led by national police.

The facts are and I will look up source and post if anyone pings me, that Qatar is funding the secession movement, teamed up with Spanish hardcore Marxists, and the way they did the referendum was actually illegal.
As bad as the regular Spanish government may be, the Marxists teamed up with Qatari high up moslems is even worse. Moslems want Spain back. Catalonia independence means it will be a pure commie hellhole with a wide open door to countless moslems including jihadis.
It is not a good thing. At all.
And that’s your story but the headline from the “Washington Post” the other day was that Catalan independence was “good for Russia”.
The old “Russia is the culprit” story was being spun by the Trump haters over there.

The fact is it that is local Spanish communists colluding with big gov dudes in Qatar and being funded by Qatar.
I’ll dig up the info today, it’s completely factual and damning. The Catalan secession movement isn’t some praiseworthy independence movement at all. It will flood Catalan with moslems, for starters.

John McCain and Hillary Clinton are friends of the Gulf Arabs and their jihadist agenda in Syria that has been definitely backed by Qatar and fortunately was stopped by Russia, among others.
