Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick expressed his appreciation for Eminem's fiery four-and-a-half-minute freestyle takedown of President Trump.
"I appreciate you," Kaepernick said in a tweet that also had the video, which aired at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday.
Kaepernick led a movement beginning last season when he took a knee during the national anthem to protest the treatment of African Americans and other minorities in the U.S. Eminem dedicated a portion of his freestyle to supporting Kaepernick and other NFL players who have recently come under attack by the president for those demonstrations.
"Now, if you're a black athlete, you're a spoiled little brat for tryna use your platform or your stature," Eminem said....

Kaepernick started his “protests” during Obama’s Presidency, Trump didn’t really figure into it. But Trump knew it for what it was and exposed the politics behind it brilliantly. Trump is the left’s vicar for everything that grieves them.
