What the owners want is to maintain the growth of the league. Goodell is in charge of ‘the How’. I think that the owners collectively have an idea that Goodell’s plan ain’t working — much like a baseball manager that can’t win. The owners are undoubtedly liberal @ssholes. But they like making money better.
