Is this stalking killer clown for real, or is this a hoax? Or just another copy cat using the new Stephen King remake of “It” movie to craft a publicity stunt.
Facebooker Draven Riffe swears this knife-wielding clown was quite real. Afterwards, Draven was so shaken by the encounter that he waited in his treestand for two hours for law enforcement to escort him out safely.
Imagine this scene. You are up in your treestand with your bow ready for your big buck to come by. Instead of a buck, it is a madman dressed like a clown, armed with a big butcher knife. He stands silently under your treestand, looking up at you menacingly while holding the gleaming steel knife ready for use against you.
Well, that is exactly what Draven Riffe says he caught on video in Charleston, West Virginia.
What would you do in this situation? While we are split on whether this footage is real or, as some skeptics think, fake, the killer clown epidemic is indeed going to cause harm to both clown and victims.
If you are a killer clown pranker, better think again as an arrow or Mr. 308 may be in your future if you pick on the wrong hunter or concealed-carrying citizen. What would you do? See the killer clown or hoax video here.
Run to my safe space and alert all my friends on Facebook that a racist clown is roaming around. Once the clown got enough dislikes, I would expect authorities to come and take him away.

I come down on fake viewing the clip, it's inconceivable to me that in the face of a threat the hunter would take the time to do a selfie video. The fact that he waited 2 hours for police to escort him out would argue against fake unless he was willing to take the consequences of a rather serious false report. The fact that West Virginia bow season doesn't start until October, some special seasons appear to start in a week, our hunter appears to be a poacher. Also arguing fake.
As to the clown, brandishing the knife with impunity, at what looks to be about 10 yards, the threat has turned deadly. A reasonable person could wait, the clown did turn off, imo or not. If it wasn't a stunt, very stupid clown.
It's been awhile since I've read about it, and never experienced it, but anti hunters have harassed hunters in the field. A very stupid thing to do. Had a neighbor who, during gun season, would walk his land looking for trespassers in camo, almost as stupid.
