In a wide ranging interview, Hillary Clinton said that she would consider contesting the results of the 2016 presidential election, but is not sure (Constitutionally) how that would work. She claims that the election and Russian interference was a bigger scandal than Watergate. She has blamed just about everything and everyone for her loss, but why does no one ask the real question?
Why is it that despite the entire establishment and media operation against Trump, did he still manage to win the election? Here are a few points worth considering:
In the run-up to the election, all major news agencies were stating that Clinton had a more than 95% chance of winning. This was clearly designed to make potential Trump voters stay home. It is a common practice in electioneering (they did the same thing in the Brexit referendum), and it does work. So knowing that it works, and knowing that a large amount of Trump voters would have thought it was not worth going out, how then did he still manage to win?

It’s simple, she can’t. The time to contest the results of the election was right up to the point where she conceded, and the results of the election were certified in December.

That’s it, you are right. Any contesting of an election has to have happened back then, not now. And any contesting has to be done with the election within any of the 50 states plus DC which choose electors to the electoral college.
This reminds us all, that there are actually 51 different elections on election day, held in each of the 50 states plus DC, as they choose electors to the electoral college.
The real election happens when the electors choose the president. The Congress certified the results of the electoral vote. That’s it. There is no way to contest a presidential election due to some amorphous notion that “Russia interfered”.
Hillary really thinks her supporters are stupid.
The first is impeachment AND conviction...which has never happened in the history of the country. Bill Clinton was impeached but not convicted.
I think this all a smoke screen to discourage criminal prosecution for her crimes while in office and during the campaign.

I seem to recall a fellow freeper suggesting this could be how HRC gets in: The dems win House & Senate, choose HRC for speaker, impeach Trump, Pence, oust them and HRC’s in.
I would not survive such a development.
Her decision to use her own server was not due to paranoia. It was entirely because of their thoroughly corrupt Clinton Family Foundation criminal enterprise. She simply couldn’t have the records of their corruption and crimes on federal government servers.
Her entire downfall is, IMO, attributable to the criminal use of the private mail server. Without that scandal, she would have been elected. But they would be poorer by several hundred million dollars.
I wish more people would wake up to the fact that the Trump-Russia "investigation" is to keep everyone occupied so they don't look into the real election tampering: 0bama having the fedgov spy on the Trump campaign. Essentially what Nixon did to the Dems in 72, except Dick didn't use the force of government!

Before challenging the 2016 election, we need to challenge the 1996 election, when Bill Clinton got re-elected with the help of illegal campaign contributions from China.
What difference, at this point, does it make?
