We did one similar during WW2 at Trinity to test equipment. What I’ve not heard yet was: was there a double bang? We have conventional weapons currently in the inventory that are capable of reducing Nork military to rubble in minutes.
The huge MOP GBU-57s were developed expressly for the Norks and Iran. They can try to hide in tunnels and under mountains all that they want. MOPs, MOABs, Tomahawks, all arriving unseen at once. And that’s just the stuff that we acknowledge having. Maybe they get a visit from the rumored Rods from God as well.
Cut China off from banks they are using to launder money they get from north Korean workers.

I agree with your suggestion. Does anyone think NK isn’t teeming with spies and covert operatives? Afterward, during the chaos resulting from dozens of underlings grappling for power, a non-nuclear strike on their power grid, nuclear facilities and major military sites would be necessary. It must be quick before some other nut tries to consolidate his power by showing the world how macho he really is. An EMP strike to knock out the nuclear sites would be preferable to blowing them to smithereens and scattering radioactive material all over the region.
FatBoy won’t listen to diplomacy, and China isn’t helping. Trump won’t make a first nuclear strike, but Kim WILL, and something has to be done before he gets that opportunity.
