In MacAuliffe’s Virginia the certified Republican who felt trapped and endangered while in his car will be tried for murder and will be ballyhooed as an Alt Right White Supremicist NAZI. They have to jail and try him now to support their story. The facts will not stand up on appeal and may not stand up in the first trial. If he “gets off” then we have to listen to the shrieking about White Man’s Justice and how the racist judge let him off. There is collateral precedent for this in several other incidents wherein a motorist caught in a street/highway blocking riot was let off or not even arrested for doing what he had to do to get the hell out of there.

It was an easy call to denounce torch-bearing Nazis and white nationalists. Trump’s stubbornness got the better of him.
Was he to ignore the hammer-and-sickle flags that are clearly visible with the counter-protesters?
When the left denounces their rent-a-mob’s symbols of hate, then Trump can denounce those of the extreme right. Otherwise, this was just an exercise in free speech by Americans entitled to do so.
