So, instead of writing about substantial things like the fraud constituent assembly deciding it will be in office for the next two years, taking as its first "measure" the removal from office of the general prosecutor Luisa Ortega and announcing that next week they will set up the inquisition truth commission I have to discuss what was either a failed coup or a stunt show........
What happened this morning in Venezuela was suspicious from the start.....
It is 1PM+, 5 hours later and it smells fishier, too convenient for the regime......

It appears to be a staged incident to distract from the tyranny being imposed on the people by the new Castro Communist "Constituent Assembly".
They are setting up a "truth commission" to go after opponents. Stalin would be proud.
I get the feeling a real armed rebellion is coming...
Don’t worry - the Department of State is on top of it! /s
Some people get all excited when an astronomical image shows the birth of a star. Well we just witnessed the birth of a nightmarish soviet-like police state over the weekend. Luisa Ortega is a brave woman by the way.
Sounds like the Mueller “Investigation”.
Would not surprised me.
Sounds like Mueller and his comrades.
Venezuela is being run by Cuba and Russian military intelligence.
There are no faggots, and you WILL be shot if you as much look cross eyed at one of the bosses.
At least they’re TRYING to clean up their mess.
We’re BEHIND them, not in front.
Copycats. Erdogan did the same in Turkey as an excuse to crack down.
VZ is a weird place, militarily. I spent part of 1990 down there and there was a huge difference between their army and their national Guard. Here, the guard supplements the army, down there, they were at odds. Like the guard protected the people against the army.
So I don’t put it beyond possible that there is a military conflict in VZ. Kind of a bifurcated military. One serves the nation, one serves the people.
Be interesting to know who was defending the prosecutor who got ousted... army or national guard.
China is protecting it’s 60++ billion dollar investment in Venezuela.
And the US media is protecting China, it’s fount of advertising revenue.
Mary Anastsia OGrady at the WSJ has done very good work on this aspect. There are 4500 Cuban troops in country and they run the VZ intelligence svc and all document issuing ministries. That includes voter registration.
Venezuela is Cuba 2.0.
The maduro regime has the backing of the chinese, cubans, russians, iranians, and all of the south american socialist dictatorships.
This is “social justice” in its purest form. Equal misery and suffering for all, except for those who are more equal than the rest. Sw
Exacatly! Dictators are doing some prevention.
When you have parts of the “opposition” willing to participate in a rigged set of local elections scheduled down the road, as happened in the past week, the Chinese influence becomes a prime suspect.
China has loaned a lot of money to Venezuela and gets free oil as payment for the debt.
Another male model dropping firecrackers from his helicopter?
