You are right, I could be lying for all anyone knows on here.
Inasmuch as you were well down the road and none of them could see you to identify you, (as you stood talking to the gorillas and the Barneys) both the gorillas and the Barneys were talking out their @sses.
File a complaint with the police dept.
Maybe the “kids” were not all that young and they themselves took something from the car, and then blamed you because they saw you walk by, and these two people fell for their tale.
I’m a walker myself and I suppose I’d just change my route to somewhere busier.

The two people that confronted me, didn’t seemed too smart. They were acting entirely on the witnesses of children.
I think I will file a complaint with the police department. There is no reason why either one of them needed to get out of the car, instead of calling the police if they had a problem with me. Getting out of the car shows clear intention that they wanted to fight.
Yeah, I was wearing and listening to my iPod. It is harder to hear cars behind me. To be honest, I didn’t even notice this car until they were right next to me.
