A Moorhead, Minnesota man stands accused of beating, scalding, and blowing up firecrackers on his 2-month old daughter before rubbing cayenne pepper in her eyes and choking her till she turned blue.
Shawn Foltz, 31, was charged with neglect of a child, malicious punishment of a child and two counts of third-degree assault. All of those charges are felonies.
According to KFGO radio, Foltz told investigators that he would think of ways to harm the infant while he was at work.
According to Fox 4, he also said that he snapped his daughter with a towel in the face, scalded her with hot water in the face and tossed fireworks at her body.
He also hit her with a wooden spoon and a piece of vinyl flooring on the bottom for crying.

This dude challenges my respect for the section of the 8th Amendment about cruel and unusual punishments.
May he never be allowed to be near any child again.
May he never be allowed neat oxygen again.
The mother needs to be locked up too. The kid will never have a chance let alone proper care with these losers.
I wouldn’t even have him make it to a jury of his peers. Slice his Achilles tendons, tie the bastard to a gurney and shove an m-80 up his behind. Move to a different location and do it again and again until he stops breathing. I really don’t have much faith in humanity if we even have to provide a defender for this type of crap.
Toss this guy into a pen of very hungry pit bulls. Or hogs. After gouging out his eyes and dipping certain tender parts of his in strong acid.

We just had a local couple in central IN caught starving their 5 year old.
Father is a registered sex offender, 6 other kids in the house. Padlocked the boy in his room for days at a time with no food, bed or blankets, set up surveillance and alarm system because dad said the kid would “sneak food.”
The little tyke said he often ate dog and guinea pig feces because he was so hungry. ( he weighed 32 pounds when found)
