A lot of the talk surrounding Jon Ossoff‘s loss last night has been about whether Democrats have a strong enough message that resonates beyond opposition to President Trump. The hosts of The View discussed this very issue this morning.
Joy Behar in particular said that maybe Democrats don’t have that strong message:
“The fact remains that since Donald Trump won the election… the Democrats have lost three elections. So if you’re using Donald Trump as your basis for your campaign, I don’t know if it’s working. I don’t think people are going towards the Democrats… and it’s a problem.”
The media narrative about the Ossoff-Karen Handel race being about––at least in part–-a referendum on Trump led to tweets like this last night:

Behar brought up how Ossoff didn’t even live in the district and said that the Democratic party in general needs “charismatic” candidates and a clearer message.
Jedediah Bila also pointed out the massive amount of out-of-state money Ossoff received in the special election.

So, in effect, the Dems “new” strategy is going to be to make up better lies.

That’s because Trump WON even in blue states.
Neither does “Elect us or we’ll shoot another congressman”.
If the MSM wants their candidate to win all they have to do is support the other candidate.
That is how much the MSM is hated by a large number of voters.
Think about it—wouldn’t you start getting very nervous if MSNBC, CNN, the Washington Post, and the New York Times supported your candidate?
Wouldn’t you presume your candidate had skeletons in their closet or your candidate was lying to you about their real agenda?
Those are the candidates the MSM supports—every time!
Do you think Ryan and McConnell were unhappy that the Democrat lost?
