I wanted to ride my bicycle to Müggelsee and meet my family there for a swim in the lake. But the weather is cloudy this weekend. What I learned is to be more flexible because Wednesday would have been a perfect sunny day for a bicycle ride to do that. Even if I end up going twice in a week (schedule permitting) that is fine by me because it's the perfect day. So many beautiful sights to see on the trip. Once there and rested laying on the sand in the sun, swimming in the lake is GLORIOUS.

There are new arrivals at the zoo today, two pandas. But they need to settle in before being let out on display.

I wanted to see one of those stink flowers but the facebook page says it is possible that won't happen this summer after all.

Considered going to a movie but that is expensive when we actually have movies to watch. Saw that Summer Steam sales started and I have 50 euros on there.

I bought a bag of natural potato chips, after hesitating a hundred times because I am eating a lot less crap. Turns out my wife noticed it has a code after pealing a sticker with 1,111 chances to win up to 25,000 euros. We won 30 euro supermarket voucher. :)

The other night there was some amazing thunder. First came a very bright flash of white light. Then a wrenching sound as the atmosphere was being pulled apart like: KRRAaakrrrAAKrrr...

Then suddenly BOOOOOM! OOOMM OOMM...

followed by lessening reverberations of KrraaKraaakraakraakraa, for close to a minute.

Then pounding rain pow pow pow pow...

Five minutes later the same amazing flash and thunder. That happened 5 or 6 times. My wife wanted to know what was funny. I told her: The thunder?
