If You’ve Ever Wondered Why Republicans are Still Bashing Trump, Here’s the Answer

First there were the “Never Trumps”, then there were the back stabbings and leaks, and all the while there has been a constant undermining of the President from both the Democrats and the Republicans. From the Democrats it is almost expected that they will try and destroy Donald Trump regardless the detriment to the nation, but aren’t the Republicans better served by having their Party’s President in the White House? Why are people like John McCain working on the international stage to ruin Trump’s reputation, and what is the benefit in “your President “ being derided to foreign leaders? The answer, as it ever is, is TTP.

Obama calls TPP central to his second-term legacy, as well as to his foreign policy and economic agendas.No conservative in their right mind could support it.

NOTE WELL: few, if any, of the RCEP and TPP countries contributed to the buck-raking Clinton Foundation. Looks like the Clintons and Obama divvied up the globe so that each have their own countries in order to collect big buck foundation donations, honorarium, consultancies, and int'l insider business deals.

==============================================

WIKI REFERENCE: Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is a proposed free trade agreement (FTA) between the ten member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) (Brunei, Burma (Myanmar), Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam) and the six states with which ASEAN has existing FTAs (Australia, China, India, Japan, South Korea and New Zealand). RCEP negotiations were formally launched in November 2012 at the ASEAN Summit in Cambodia.

==================================================

The trade deal giveaway is a huge scam...best examined against the backdrop of Obama's two tax-exempt foundations (that we know of).

THE FACTS ARE THESE Obama's priming the pump for donations to his two Foundations. All of it---TPA and TPP--Obama's immigration suck-ups---his non- action WRT ISIS, IRAN---are best understood against the backdrop of Obama's future plans as an ex-president----more specifically, his two Foundations (two that we know of).

The aforementioned entities control billions of dollars---and Obama is lying-in-wait for his share.

Just the other day--Obama proudly bragged that “today, once again, the US is the most respected country on earth.”

So it doesn’t matter Putin continues his invasion of Ukraine....

Or that China knows it can continue grabbing key sea areas, building vast artificial islands on which to plant its flag (and weapons). Or that Bashar al-Assad is back to using chemical weapons, because Obama won't enforce his own “red line."

As for Iran: It’s already breaking the “interim” US nuclear deal by building enriched-uranium stockpiles far larger than it promised. Iraq? In the same town-hall, Obama talks of how “we were able to end two wars."

=========================================

Obama learned from the Clintons how to get a big payday for his two foundations: look on w/ approval even if countries invade and depopulate.....and never e-v-e-r utter a discouraging word e-v-e-r.

Maybe even shake hands w/ foreign tyrants to get mining permits and million dollar honorariums as Clinton did in Kazakhstan.

If the Republicans were smart they would go balls to the wall to implement Trump’s plans. After four years of successes, Trump would just get bored and hand it off to Pence.

The Trans Pacific Partnership is one symptom, but it is not the base reason. I think that the elite see much more power and profit from being provincial governors in an anti-democratic world government than in being elected representatives in a republic. We'll still be allowed to vote on trivia like whether oaks or maples will line the street, but important things like tax rates and what medical treatment we're allowed to have will be decided by our “betters”. Just look at the EU and turn it up to eleven and you get an idea what most of our government in Washington wants.

I have called and emailed my Senators asking that they remove McCain from his committee appointments. First, for global Trump-bashing, and second, for being completely non compos mentis at the Comey hearing.

That is the safe bet. The US experiment in self-government was an anomoly, and lasted about 150 years. The people are no match for the wits, power and cunning fielded by the elites.

Did anyone actually believe that the people could elect a non-traditional outsider and send him to DC and there would be a love-fest around the guy?

That is just crazy.

He threatens them ALL. That is why he gets minimal support from the Republicans and zero support from the Dems.

Why Republicans are still bashing Trump? The answer is quite simple, particularly if you talk a look through the past couple of decades of history.

Congress LIKES having a hobbled or emasculated President. They then get to be in charge. Congress continually tries to weaken the Executive branch of government.

They tried to weaken Reagan, but his strength of character and persistence made him consistently relevant. People liked him, he knew it, and he was able to go over the heads of Congress because of it.

They impeached, but didn’t convict Clinton, making him a lame-duck. Prior to that, Clinton also was popular with a wide swath of the population. Through his own actions, he destroyed this goodwill, and the ability to truly lead.

They began the destruction of GWB early, but the 9/11 attacks made him nearly invincible at home and abroad - until the Afghanistan and Iraq wars. He, too, was attacked - concerted efforts by the press, the global elitists, and the Dems. He spent 3/4ths of his last term weak, and on defense.

Obama was a more difficult challenge - they couldn’t go after him directly, or be banded racists. And he was popular with the Dem base, and solidified and energized the African-American voters. So they didn’t actively attack him, but they ignored him. He was useful when they needed to put a face on key socialist (oops - Democrat) policies, like “Obamacare” that the left had been lusting for since LBJ. But otherwise, he was ignored by congressional leaders.

So whether it was Boehner or Pelosi (and now Ryan) in the house, or Reid or McConnell in the Senate, the Congress wants to run things, and barely permit the President to be a figurehead. Trump is trying to break through this stranglehold like Reagan, and what you’re witnessing is Congressional push back.
