I guess the writer didn't hear that it is President Trump's, his family, and a bunch of old white guys' fault that this unfunny bitch is a moron and a total nut job. It’s very fair.
She is supposed to be an entertainer. When she does something that turns her audience away from her, she is fair game to be the receiver of the audience’s opinion of her and her material. This is why everyone doesn’t play the same music. Movies are different and some make money, others don’t.
And entertainers are no different than people in the real world. They are expected to act and achieve in a certain way. If they don’t, they pay the price. She asked for it, she got it.

It was a generic “Hey, I’m sorry. Clearly I crossed the line. Please forgive me” plea and the video was directed at her fans, not anyone who offended.
