Longtime liberal rock ‘n’ roller David Crosby — of the legendary groups, Crosby, Stills & Nash and the Byrds — got a gander of a photo showing conservative rocker Ted Nugent and Republican President Donald Trump in the White House.

And the forever outspoken Crosby just couldn’t help himself. “This picture says it all,” Crosby tweeted last Thursday. “The two most insincere smiles in history” — along with a sendoff — “what a pair of a**holes.”
As you know by now, Nugent isn’t one to keep his opinions to himself, either — and certainly not when the barrel is aimed at him.
“I’ve always been attacked,” he told WABC-AM in the wake of the Crosby tweet. “The hate from the dopers out there. You know, if you smoke enough dope, you just become overwhelmed with hate and ignorance.”
Nugent then characterized Crosby as “kind of a lost soul, and he’s done so much substance abuse throughout his life that his logic meter is gone. His reasoning and his depth of understanding is pretty much gone, so it doesn’t surprise me. I feel quite sad for the guy.”
Crosby, apparently after getting wind of Nugent’s return of fire, doubled down on Twitter:

With that, the Motor City Madman took to Facebook and let Crosby have it right back: “Well well well. One toke over the line Davey. Doesn’t believe in Americans carrying guns but he does! Logic & decency gone with the wind.”
After a commenter suggested that he have a debate with Crosby, Nugent replied, “That would be so cruel. I’m game anytime anywhere.”
Southern man don’t need him around, anyhow.
I’d pay to see a debate between the two. For Crosby, it would be one of those knife-to-a-gunfight things.
Not the only time, either.

I tried to read Crosby’s biography but he was such a waste of space it was hard to read. He is a very talented guy that just wasted his life with drugs and then self-worship. .
Of whichever decade he pulled that particular stunt would be more appropriate...

If it was an older concert, I guarantee Clapton was on a ton of heroin and/or coke.
Clapton is an extremely level-headed guy, real class act. He’s not political.
Outside of family, he focuses on music and music only, including musical history. He’s a walking encyclopedia of music. And personally, he’s what one would want their musical child to grow into.
He experienced the 60s era and escaped its downside. He became a responsible loving husband and father. The tragic loss of his young child is a heartbreak of the ages.

David Cosby is way over rated. NEVER liked his shitty music alone or with the Byrds, or CSN & Young. He sucks.
Imagine how butt ugly Melissa Etheridges turkey blaster baby is. Mixing it with Cosbys sperm because she wanted an “artistic” kid. Yuck.
Wonder what problems heavy drug use causes to progeny?
Grew up watching Mickey and loved him - he did ruin his liver with booze then get preferential standing for a transplant though.
