We’re Still Losing the War. And Here’s Why
IWB ^ | Mark Angelides

No matter what Donald Trump achieves as President, and no matter what the outcomes of the Brexit negotiations, we’re still losing the information war. And unless this is won, all advancements can be simply undone or worked around by the next administration. Each victory that Trump wins, whether it’s the deportation of criminal migrants, the revamping (or removal) of Obamacare, it can all be taken away when the next agenda-driven candidate comes to power. It would be nice to think that the sclerotic rot of the CNC will never rise again, but it will. And when it does, the first actions will be to get the US back to where it was in mid-2016.

The reason that this almost inevitable, is because the campaign (for them) is still being fought. They still control the two key areas of communication: News and Education. And while they have control of these areas, they will continue to push the propaganda that the Presidential actions are divisive, ill-conceived and just plain evil. Until we change that, we are only ever plugging the dam with our collective thumb.

Rest:

News

The media onslaught against Trump, Nigel Farage, Marine Le Pen, and almost everyone of importance who speaks out against the Globalist agenda is never-ending. All News Agencies are working in concert to ensure that not an hour goes by when they are not denigrating opposition view points. And this bile spills into the ears of millions around the world.

The parallels between 1984’s “permanent state of war” and the Left’s “permanent state of campaign” is all too similar.

Our TV News is Left-agenda –driven (a vast majority). Our print and online media is Left-agenda –driven (a vast majority) and this DOES shape opinion. We are all susceptible to to the constant arguments and opinions that are thrust upon us (this is why many of us tend to end up on a feedback loop for news sites).

Education

How many Trump/Brexit supporters as School Heads do you think there are? Is this because School Heads are “too Smart” to vote against the “agenda machine” or is it something else? Either way, the majority of schools are anti-Trump and anti-Brexit and only too willing to push their ideas on the young.

And just in case any get through High school not fully indoctrinated, then the colleges and universities will shame, bully, intimidate and expel, until the only people graduating (and therefore getting government jobs), are violent, leftist reactionaries, who can neither think for themselves nor handle the real world.
While they win on communication, nothing else really matters. We need to be campaigning, too. Not just reveling or dwelling on individual policies. All of us need to be talking, convincing, writing, promoting, standing for office, attending and getting information out there. Start saving our communities, one person at a time if needs be. Otherwise it will all have been for nothing. And come 2024 (or 2020), the needle will return to the start of the song (2016) and begin again.

An enduring legacy of conservatism can be achieved outside of Washington DC in the flyover country by successfully organizing and moving constitutional amendments under Article V and by writing such amendments so that no court, no Congress, no President can thwart the meanings and intents of such amendments.

Such amendments may be thwarted until the populace demands otherwise.

The Communists took over the media and the school systems from the bottom to the top. Then they took over the Democrat Party. They filled the judiciary with Communist judges, and back to the school system, they filled the law schools with Communists.

We are living in a short time of reprieve, but after Trump, it will be on to the concentration camps and their ovens.

Yes, the fake news and fake education is against the Constitution. So we just keep fighting, changing it all one bit at a time.

Keep distributing true news. Educate kids in truth.

Sorry.....But they can thwart them.

As Rush pointed out this past week the Constitution ( or any Amendments passed with Article 5) is merely paper. What makes all this work is **Honor**.

Fundamentally, our entire system of Constitutional rule of law hangs on the **good will** of the citizens to make it work.

No number of laws or amendments, not matter how well crafted will corral evil. Evil will leak through every time.

If conservatives are to save this nation they must shut down government K-12 schools and universities. They can not be reformed.

On the k-12 level vouchers, tax credits, and charters can help build the infrastructure but the goal must be complete separation of school and state.

On the university level Charles Murray has the right idea: Qualifying exams that are developed and administered privately.

Conservative businesses can do its part by using SAT and ACT scores ( along with internships) to identify bright workers. If a job didn't need a degree in 1920, 1955,or 1980 it doesn't need one now.

How about you two experts giving some examples of proposed amendments that can be thwarted?

Can you think of one that cannot be thwarted?

I can think of three that cannot be thwarted.

And by ‘thwarted’ is meant ignored of its intent and meaning.

But let’s hear it from your keyboards first.

I can not think of anything in the Constitution that could not be “thwarted”. The entire Constitution rests upon the good will of the citizens to uphold its intent.

By the way.... Article 2 Section has now been completely trashed. Yes, I know it isn't an Amendment but now that section of the Constitution has been voided both by Obama and Cruz.

I am curious. What are the 3 that can not be thwarted?

So you think the Constitution, articles and amendments can be thwarted, ignored.

Here’s a proposed Constitutional amendment. Tell me how you see it ignored os somehow made irrelevant:

************************************************
AMENDMENT XXVIII (’State Suffrage’)

To restore effective suffrage of State Legislatures to Congress, the following amendment is proposed:

************************************************
Section 1.
A Senator in Congress shall be subject to recall by their respective state legislature or by voter referendum in their respective state.

Section 2.
Term limits for Senators in Congress shall be set by vote in their respective state legislatures but in no case shall be set less than twelve years nor more than eighteen years.

Section 3:
The seventeenth article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States is hereby repealed.

************************************************

“...then the colleges and universities will shame, bully, intimidate and expel...”

Thank the Lord for Ann Coulter!

We need more like her.

Where’s Trump on the public campus free speech war?

Personally, I don’t really care if we fix or liberate public universities. I’m all for just ending the funding altogether. We will survive just fine without them. Better I assume.

The problem is not that the Communists “took over” the schools. The problem is that the godless Communists CREATED government schooling and imposed it by force and propaganda on the American people.

Violent mobs of screaming, illiterate SJW’s are precisely what government schooling was DESIGNED to manufacture.

The destruction of government schooling should be among the highest priorities of the MAGA movement.

I would oppose that amendment because the words “Senator” and “their” do not agree in number.

We are living in a short time of reprieve, but after Trump, it will be on to the concentration camps and their ovens.

Yeah, before anyone rushes into those ovens, maybe we ought to see how the armed civil war II turns out...

I'm pretty sure I know which side the military and most police departments will land on once the veneer of civility is lifted and who owns most the guns. While I don't see the right marching anyone into those ovens; figuring out what to do with the enemy traitor combatants will be a challenge since they can't live among us ever again and I doubt any country wants them but one never knows. Still, their numbers would be at least 10 million, which is a lot for any nation to absorb. Maybe Australia will carve out a section in the great outback there for some or maybe the far north of Canada. I hear Venezuela needs farm workers. Pretty sure forced sterilization will be a must for all of them though; both the women and men. Can't have them making future suicide bombers and what not. Just let them live out their lives in ice carved homes or tents depending on where they end up. It's the humane thing to do you see and better than they would treat us.

A US Senator has only one state legislature of course.

“Senators in Congress shall be subject to recall by their respective state legislature or by voter referendum in their respective state.”

While these are admirable amendments that I would support, their implementation depends solely on the good will and honor of the people.

We have an Article 2 Section 1 in the Constitution. Look how well that is enforced. Do we still have a Department of Education? Where is that in the Constitution?

So now you are admitting that there is a way to write amendments that can't be thwarted.

There are two more proposed amendments that are written in such a way that no federal entity can subvert.

It's all about the way they are written, about writing them from a perspective that cannot be denied.

That proposed amendment XXVIII above cannot be ignored or denied by any branch or organ of federal government because of the way it is written.

Now because you are aware that it is possible to write amendments that cannot be ignored, denied, thwarted, try as an exercise to write an amendment that strengthens the original intent of Article 2, Section 1 which is copied here:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

The original meaning and intent of the passage above from Article 2, Section 1 originated in a communication by John Jay to General George Washington. Trackback and study that history. It boils down to ensuring, as best as can be ensured, the qualities of LOYALTY and ALLEGIANCE. Then go ahead and try to draft something that strengthens that meaning and intent.

I am admitting no such thing.

I DO SUPPORT the Amendments that you propose but their success depends on the good will and honor of our citizens to make them work as intended. Without a moral and honest citizenry they will fail and be thwarted.

Ultimately the success or failure of our nation's experiment in self rule depends entirely on the good will ( or as Rush says, “Honor”) of the people to make it work.

Evil will manage to leak through the most tightly crafted laws and amendments every time.
