Probably the caps.
Nobody wants to read stuff in all caps.

If this mess were written in ALL CAPS then any normal person should reject it.

The issue isn't legislation the issue is taking down America via taking down President Trump.

Insurance and drug companies fund all the Congress-critters’ campaigns, and Obamacare was written with them being the primary beneficiary. The American people are irrelevant in the equation.

Best as I can tell, it’s because it’s doing what the Dems wanted all along: creating a new class of entitlements that will keep people voting for Democrats, while moving the entire country to the socialist model of single-payer (i.e. - government provided healthcare).

Just as the American people were “Gruber-ized” into supporting it, the Dems also lied to the insurance companies, convincing them that all of the net-new insured (as mandated by the law) would give them new revenues and new profits.

Of course that was never going to happen, as the cost to the insurance companies to “pay” for all of these treatments would swamp them as the previously un-insurable would sign up (but not until they needed the coverage). In other words, no revenue until the sign-up occurred, which in-turn was overwhelmed by the treatment expenses. This would force the insurance companies out of the market, which would “force” the Government to step in and go to a single-payer model.

Trying to pull this back now is going to royally piss-off the large-numbers of poor and sick that are getting their treatments and “insurance” subsidized by the rest of the population. Probably not coincidentally, the Federal deficit for Obama’s last year in office was the same as in his first - $1 Trillion. In his first year, that was supposedly all “emergency stimulus” money, required (one-time) to save the economy.

Once weekly health insurance copy premiums exceeded the federal wage withholding in dollar amounts, politics became interested in your healthcare. They are just following their food bowl.

BS.

Nothing is better than Obamacare.

Repeal.

Done.

Then introduce free market measures that allow competition.

You have to have something to replace it.

Why?

Get rid of it THEN replace it.

It was repealed in 2015...pass THAT bill and stop all this futzing around.

They don’t really want to.

Everyone hates Obamacare except for that one little part of it they love.

People like free stuff.

So let's keep the free stuff that benefits me and get rid of the rest of it.

Repeal 0care 2359 hours 12/31/2018 in total. Over year and a half to get it right. Or leave us to hell alone.

The big kabuki dance isn’t necessary.

The truth of the matter is that the attendants of Fedzilla in Congress never had any intention of repealing Obamacare.
Fedzilla derives great power from controlling all health care decisions and medical records.
The attendants of Fedzilla serve Fedzilla, not the citizens.

No, frankly, no we don’t need to replace it with anything.

What needs to happen though is along with the repeal we will need some sort of ‘price’ controls Shriek!!! Did I just write that!

Yes, why yes I did and here’s why. 0bamacare so warped the health insurance industry and Medical care fields, that there is a temporary need for price controls and monopoly busting.

Example: I had to have an aircast boot for my broken foot. Orthopedic price $545 at the office. Same exact aircast found on Amazon new...$149. Oh...and the $545 aircast boot...no refunds once it leaves the office.

If something that an Orthopedist would order in bulk at a discount and then markup over 400% is market type pricing...shoot me now. Seriously folks, until we start to really dig into what is going on in the MEDICAL field, we are never going to have a healthcare system than functions.

Oh yeah...here’s the PS to that aircast boot thing...my insurance only covers two (2), yes two orthopedic doctors in the entire state of Ohio.

The whole system sucks and I have decided that doctors, hospitals, etc. are no longer attainable in my budget. Recently fell a second time a few weeks ago. Pretty sure my wrist is broken or the ulna has a hairline fracture. No, I won’t go to the doctor for it. I can’t afford it.

Hospitals, doctors, specialists are for the elite in America. This isn’t the America I had hoped for or believed in.

The ‘Pubbies are looking at people losing their subsidized insurance - the sob stories that would follow would be a major boost to the Democrats.
They don’t have guts for the major surgery this requires.
