This is not about money - its about control. The media lost control of the last election since Trump voters are invisible to the liberal naked eye.The media will make up shows and stories and propaganda until they feel they can drive the trump herd where they want it to go.
Fund raising gives access to control, which gives power - the thing the Dems crave more than anything else. Of course its is about the money - it always is; I did mention propaganda which is generated by money to create the propaganda.
The herd goes into the coral and the Dems get set to dine.
I would prefer they re-air all the originals of those... Hogan's Heroes too... and a few others (McHale's Navy, Gilligan's Island, I Dream of Jeanie, F-Troop...)
Watch Last Man Standing and you’ll see a conservative family with one of the daughters a left wing single mother with a left wing dead beat dad/boyfriend who showed up after the kid is four years old. The Tim Allen character wins the day.
Most 80s shows fit with the national attitude and were very upbeat, patriotic, optimistic and family-oriented.
Back then producers wanted to get good ratings. These days I’m sure any new shows will be full of cheap shots.
Petticoat Junction will figure in there, somewhere, too. When I saw NPR in that report I stopped reading. Who could be more hate filled and anxious to smear Pres. Trump, AND all of us deplorables with him, than NPR....and all the other alphabet soup?!
The DOJ Civil Rights Division will sue Andy and Barney for forcing Otis to jail himself on a regular basis.
Gomer and Goober will be arrested for removing catalytic converters in contravention of EPA edicts.
