Former Democratic presidential candidate and Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chaffee (I) said earlier this week that he disagrees with President Donald Trump on 99.9 percent of his proposals, but there did appear to be at least one thing the two can agree on.
During an interview Tuesday with WPRO-AM, Chaffee channeled his inner-Trump, blasting how the mainstream media has covered the 45th president. Trump has repeatedly attacked the media, first as a presidential candidate, then as president-elect and now as president, even going as far as to call the fourth estate a enemy of the American people.
Its just a full onslaught against him and I think its kind of tiresome. He won. I didnt vote for him, but he won, and lets let him get his feet under him and try and build an administration, and move on, Chaffee said, later indicating he voted for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) in the Rhode Island Democratic primary and for Hillary Clinton in the Nov. 8 general election.

A rare moment of clarity and honesty.
I thought it was going to be Fritz Mondale, if they travel to the nursing home to interview him.
Lincoln Chaffee: the name that makes “Independents” wish they weren’t Independents
"I say, Lovey, let's give the boy a chance."
I had a liberal acquaintance criticizing Trump before the election for the nonsense about his legitimate tax deductions.
I said to her, *So what? I take every legitimate tax deduction that I can. I’m not paying any more taxes than I have to. Do you?*
Then I said to her, *When you were working and owned your own business, didn’t YOU take every legitimate tax you could, too?*(knowing full well that EVERYONE does) and she admitted that yes, she did. *So what’s the problem then?*
No answer.
It shut her up.
I loved it.
He’s not an Independent. He formally switched to the Democrats as Governor. He dropped out of running for a second term because a ficus plant would’ve defeated him in the Dem primary. He was the most unpopular Governor in America.
