Shot Show: Kel-Tec Still at Max Capacity for PMR 30

I have a PMR 30. Waited a year and a half on a waiting list at Impact for it. Turned out not to be a bad thing as they were having a tumbling problem which got corrected before mine came off the line.

To this day I cannot cram more than 25 rounds in either magazine. To avoid ff problems I only use CCI maxi mags.

The gun is lightweight, louder than a you know what and throws about a 12 inch muzzle flash. Its fun to shoot but I would not use it as a carry weapon. Its definitely a novelty gun. If things get real I would go to my Ruger P89.

In my opinion, they are nice engineering designs, but very lacking on follow through and reliability.

IMO, that statement succinctly summarizes Kel-Tec.

Yep. Smart move on your part. I was watching a you tube of a guy fast pumping a ksg - really scary how close his hand was coming to the muzzle.

I recently purchased an Ruger SR22 and we love it. I also purchased a Ruger “take down” 10/22 - 22LR. Both are fun to shoot and compared to my other firearms, very inexpensive to shoot.
