Bombshell-CIA agents issue major threat to Trump, they went too far

Silly Liberals, issuing a threat against someone who has more power than you is never a good idea.

The CIA is threatening mass resignations after Donald Trump takes office. Former CIA acting director Michael Morell said Trump’s “rhetoric” will cause a “wave of resignations” that will impact the agency’s ability to work with intelligence services around the world, the Hill reports.

“First, expect a wave of resignations. Attrition at the C.I.A., which has been remarkably low since Sept. 11, 2001, will skyrocket,” Morell wrote in a New York Times opinion column. “The primary motivator for some of our smartest minds to go to work at the C.I.A. is to make a difference to national security, to play a role in keeping the country safe.”

The President-elect is NOT going to America less safe, he is just going to put the right people in charge! Morell is correct about the mission of the CIA, at least.

If the staffers at the agency are so thin-skinned they cannot handle it when called to task for shoddy work, then we really need some new people in the agency anyway.

The mindset and demeanor of the Liberal agency leaders may have infected the ranks. That would be a shame, but a President Trump would have no problem finding highly skilled tech analysts in the private sector and bring in new recruits from within the government who have long been passed over because their views on world affairs were too Conservative and common sense imposed for the Barack Obama administration.

“All of the sacrifices — from the long hours, polygraph tests, unfair media criticism, not to mention the real dangers to life and limb — are worth it, if you are making a difference,” Morell continued. Unfair media criticism? The mainstream media has been carrying the water for the Obama administration for eight years – including the findings of the lackluster Russian hackers investigation.

Perhaps leaking the top secret report on the DNC hacking to NBC BEFORE it was given to Donald Trump has not endeared CIA brass to the President-elect. Morell went on to dub Trump’s comments about the Russian hacking investigation an “unprecedented political challenge for our national security establishment” and “a danger to the nation.”

Being questioned about the thoroughness of findings in an intelligence report is due diligence on the president-elect’s part. When neither the FBI nor the CIA even looked at the hacked laptops or the DNC server before deciding Russia did it, there is ample room for an authenticity and accuracy challenge from an incoming president.

The CIA is not supposed to be a politicized agency. But over the course of the past eight years it, like the Pentagon, has becoming increasingly partisan.

“His [Trump] disparagement of American intelligence officers over the last few months is likely to cause significant damage to the CIA,” Morell added. “Why would a foreign intelligence service take the CIA seriously (and share important information with it) when the American president doesn’t?”

The correct question to be asking is WHY doesn’t the future president take the CIA seriously – the agency heads should be scurrying to fix their credibility problem and not making inane threats. Trump will leave no Washington, D.C. swamp left un-drained.

have any of those "celebs" actually left

I haven't heard of one. These are obviously not people of sincere convictions.

Grampa Dave,

Me thinks thousands of family members of people disappeared or killed in DOMESTIC accidents will be contacting The Donald in two weeks.

This could be an interesting year.

Is the CIA filled up with the Muslim brotherhood? Is that the problem? Let them go.

What is your gross to require 71000 in income taxes? What would a federal government employee possibly accomplish that is worth that much?

My point is that decades ago when considering a career with the government, a low government salary was balanced with high security and good benefits. Some people made that choice and others chose private sector and it was a fair choice.

Somewhere over that past few decades the government salaries increased enormously and the security and benefits stayed high also. That happened because the employer doesn’t need to compete in the marketplace. They just raise taxes on the producers to increase salaries for their own. Taxes taken by force, not earned.

So when you earlier suggested that we could have chosen employment with the government, you were correct, but it was a fair choice back then. You just had to decide what was better for you personally, higher salary or better benefits and security.

Now that the entire compensation structure is out of balance, it is set up to attract more people to government instead of the private sector. Government employees don’t produce, they consume. That is my point and that is why I used the term parasites. If it continues, the host will die.

The desk jockeys do zip. It is the covert contract agents in foreign countries with a war raging who put their ass on the line.

I sold a rental property. Large capital gains. What does being a retired federal employee have to do with it?

Even a dead host will require government employees including the military.

More imbeciles underestimating the guy who will send them looking for work elsewhere. We were already bracing for the mass exodus of federal workers if Trump prevailed.

I should think that it would be very difficult to clean out that nest of vipers. They are expert at faking, so who knows who’s on whose side?

The problem is the sneaks who will stay and play, by pretending to despise the known suspects.

Much like the Hollyweird crowd these CIA agents are caught up in their own self-important inflated egos.

Like the air traffic controllers under Reagan.. let 'em go.. they can be replaced with a newer better version who work on behalf of America.

Well, a workman is worthy of his wages. Whether or not he’s being overpaid, is another issue. (Not saying you were overpaid; I have no way of knowing that). And, yes, it’s true, life is not fair. That some should work their fingers to the bone, yet be paid far less than some who have worked a much easier job, relatively speaking, is a fact of life. I used to hear teachers complaining that grocery clerks and factory machinists were paid far more than they, even though their job of educating children, was much more important. (The only teachers who can say that now, are some private school teachers) I was a nurse. I worked much harder than some doctors, but obviously, they made 10-20 times what I did. By the same token, I’ve had patients who worked twice as hard as I, at half the pay. The same Book that tells me, “a workman is worthy of his wages”, also tells me of the man who received the same pay for one hour’s work, as those who worked all day, and that who am I to question it? I suspect our Lord, in that case, was referring to those of us who are received into Glory, by the skin of our teeth, just as those who worshipped and obeyed faithfully for many years, are received. No, life is not fair. But, then, THIS life, no matter how much money you make, isn’t worth a hill of beans, when compared to Glory. As the Book tells the rich man in hell, “ You’ve had your reward”. (Just musing; not trying to equate you with that man).

With the marine general at the helm of the CIA the liberal think tank will be placed on a very strict diet. Their role in an America on a reverse course may find many rats being fired and many jumping ship.

The FBI will be trimmed and bureaucrats ejected. The TSA and the ridiculous Homeland Security should become an integral part of the FBI and their ABC designation eliminated along with the thousands of extraneous personnel.

The central socialist government is overburdened with too damned many agencies. Streamline and reduce!

I believe Barry has deliberately larded agencies of the central socialist government with Muslims, potential terrorists, and lots of homosexuals and lesbians.

Malicious rumors being spread by govt workers (Brennan, Comey, etc) who know they are about to be fired. Disgruntled employees.

Use information from a reliable insider....in secret...then conduct mass firings for gross incompetence! While it’s true some agents have been assassinated, their ‘deliberately’ false information has led to thousands of U. S. troops to be killed or maimed on battlefields.
