China Trumps NASA With Working "StarTrek" EM Propulsion Drive --"Testing Now...

Scientists with the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) claim NASA’s results ‘re-confirm’ what they’d already achieved, and have plans to implement it in satellites ‘as quickly as possible.’ China claims they’ve created a working prototype of the ‘impossible’ reactionless engine – and they say they’re already testing it in orbit aboard the Tiangong-2 space laboratory. The radical, fuel-free EmDrive recently stirred up controversy after a paper published by a team of NASA researchers appeared to show they’d successfully built the technology.

The implications for this could be huge. For instance, current satellites could be half the size they are today without the need to carry fuel.

At a press conference in Beijing, researchers with CAST confirmed the government has been funding research into the technology since 2010, and claimed they’ve developed a device that’s already being tested in low-Earth orbit, IBTimes UK reports. It comes just a month after anonymous sources told IBTimes UK that tests on the EmDrive were underway aboard Tiangong-2 shown below....

Where are they getting the dilithium crystals?

I’ll believe it when I see it for myself. You cannae break the laws of physics.

NASA says it works.

Not quite. Others say NASA says this, but who are these others?

They use a borillium sphere.

The dilithium crystals are for the warp drive. This is referring to the “impulse engines” that are the sub-light drive.

It’s not fuel free. It uses photons to provide propulsion force, which means the fuel is whatever energy source is used to make the photons. No laws of physics were harmed in the making of these photons...

It is impossible to break the laws of science. However. It is possible make use of laws that we are unaware of or to supercede lower level science laws through using higher level laws.

The physical law that’s being referred to is the conservation of momentum law. “For every action there is an equal an opposite reaction”. The “EM drive” supposedly involves no reaction.

I’m seeing more and more encouraging news about the EM drive. It seems to have passed the giggle factor stage, and is now being tested by some of the world’s top labs and researchers.

What’s really intriguing, is that they’re getting results. We could be looking at one of the most important scientific breakthroughs of the last hundred years.

"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction". Newton's third law of motion.

It isn’t “fuel free”, it is reaction mass free. Which is what fuel becomes after it is burned.

You appear to be framing this as a Newton’s third law sort of engine, which it is NOT. It is reactionless and everyone involved agrees it appears to violate physics, as currently understood.
