Public University Professors Demand “Sanctuary Campus” to Shield Illegal Aliens
Judicial Watch ^ | December 6, 2016

But the Florida professors are blazing the trail as the first faculty members to officially call for campus-wide sanctuary in the aftermath of the presidential election. They work at Florida International University (FIU), a public institution with 54,000 students, more than half of them Hispanic. One of the professors, Asia Eaton, teaches psychology and women’s and gender studies and the other, Jason Ritchie, anthropology. Dozens of other university staff members also signed the document making the sanctuary demand. It starts off like this: “Like many people in South Florida, we were caught off guard by the election.” It continues to state that Trump’s victory “laid bare the pervasive racism and sexism that have limited the life chances of too many Americans for too long. As a nation, we cannot continue to sweep these problems under the rug.”

Simple fix. No Student Loan funds can go to an educational institution providing “sanctuary” status to illegal immigrants.

When these professors or politicians say that some recent policy is a noble and generous traditions they are lying their a$$es off. All of these noble traditions are at most a decade old.

These are not traditions but Leftist Internationalist Marxist strategies to disrupt capitalist economies, to collapse the cultural strength of Western societies by Balkanizing those societies and create a permanent underclass that will vote in a permanent socialist majority government.

We were fortunate in that the father in that family did have a unique resume in a particular engineering discipline that was in demand and short supply at that time. Otherwise our good offices would have been of no avail.

The purpose of Immigation policy is not help the less fortunate people of foreign countries or provide refuge for people trying to escape the ravages of war in their homeland or provide opportunities to people trying to escape some failed socialist hell hole.

The purpose of Immigration policy to preserve the society that our ancestors bequeathed to us, to preserve our system of government our language and culture. The purpose of Immigration policy is to preserve the best country the world has yet seen.

The illegal changes the Leftist have been making to our immigration policy has been specifically aimed and destroying all of that.

Until these folks can support their outrageous assertions that we have pervasive racism and sexism, there should be no federal or state funding to the school.

Few taxpayers want to see their hard earned dollars being spent on intolerant people who apparently have zero common sense and jump to judgement without supporting evidence other than their own bias.

What are they teaching our children?

I'll put it this way. The only people that have had sex with any women in that photo are women...

I don’t like the term, “sanctuary” cities. It implies refuge and kindness and the left uses this to take the moral high ground on the issue. The left manipulates the language in the media to gain sympathy and the right needs to counter this approach by learning from this. Another example is the word “choice” to disguise infanticide.

I wish we on the right would brainstorm for better terms and use them. I would suggest “asylum” to describe what is happening. It also connotes refuge but with an insane undertone. Maybe, “asylum wards”?

Every illegal here has stolen from an American citizen for whom the services consumed were denied to the America.

It is theft and it must be punished. The same with the enablers...if not worse. Send them back with criminals they enabled.

These antediluvian academics are living ancient history....the days are long gone when those on the public payroll can pick and choose which laws they will obey.

PRESIDENT TRUMP AND AG SESSIONS TAKE NOTE:

In 1980, the alert Georgia General Assembly was concerned about “the increasing sophistication of various criminal elements on the public payroll,” so the state adopted the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), patterned after a similar federal law.

RICO is often used to try to prove that a legal business was being used for illegal means, and, in the beginning, was used to prosecute drug traffickers or organized crime members.

But in recent years, prosecutors have applied RICO to government officials and those on the public payroll accused of using their offices for personal gain (and other nefarious purposes).

At the time the Georgia Rico law was implemented, it involved some 28-29 various former and current Atlanta public school academics, including a Superintendent. All are in jail. The academics had falsified official reports, took bonuses illegally, gulled parents, and various other crimes.

To bring a case under Georgia’s RICO law, there must be at least two underlying felonies — such as fraud, bribery, witness tampering (among others). RICO allows prosecutors to include multiple defendants charged with various crimes in the self-same indictment, and to charge that they were allegedly part of an ongoing criminal enterprise.

Give the university the freedom to show the the courage of their convictions.

Allow them to put their own money where their mouths are!

Defy federal law, lose federal funding.

If sanctuary status is so important, they’ll find a way.

Once the muslims start beheading people let’s see how long these dumbasses want to be sanctuary anything.

Nonsense, a single beheading is no indication of a pattern.

Ten beheadings are no indication of a pattern.

A hundred beheadings are no indication of a pattern.

A thousand beheadings are no indication of a pattern...
